hmmm...new things to say, perhaps not much.

seems the site has not been very busy for a while, i am guessing it's on account of all the back-to-school/ back-to-work situations for most.

I wish i had some great news but alas, so far not much; i had my wisdom teeth removed finally (they have been causing some issues all up in my mouth for a couple of years now), but now my mouth hurts and tastes icky; as if someone farted right in there. ewwww.

my hair is growing out surely but durn slowly, and because of my recent soup diet i have now lost all that weight i gained and some. i won't be splitting anymore pants.

i have a bunch of papers due soon and i have avoided all working on them since a death in the family (day before i went to get my teeth yanked out). when it rains...it certainly pours.

so my dad (with terminal lung cancer) is doing good but it was his wife whom had passed. my mum and step dad have been hanging out with him a lot lately which is fantastic. i feel bad for him, first the lung cancer then my baba dies and now his wife. ouch! but he's hanging in there.

been working on some sezura (if that's the correct spelling) type poetry a bit. keep changing the format of my novella from prose to poetic diction, don't think i'll ever complete it fully. perhaps i'll just publish the sucker without a denouement.

what's in a bloody denouement anyway...closure obviously but that's so overratted. tongue

thanks everybody. no worries really things can only get better or only slightly more worse but not by much so all-in-all it's not so bad.

You have such a wonderful outlook on life, I would be shocked if you ever let the bad things keep you down for very long at all. Take care.

Really sorry about your step-mom, especially with your dad having his own situation to deal with. Hang in there...

Remote internet condolences regarding the recent tragedies in your family. We both know there isn't much to say over this medium, but know that I send best wishes to you and your loved ones.

On another note, I would love the hear more about your novella and this ambiguously misspelled type of poetry. I'm getting ready to move to the islands in two weeks to start my own book. Yikes!

Our thoughts are with you and your Dad. I went through that with my mother a few years back, and now my brother has colon cancer. Think positive. Be strong.

Thanks for the encouragement - I think we all occasionally need to be reminded to try to be more content with ourselves. Hope your dad's doing well...
