ahem...
as you know... or if you don't know. I was on vacation for three weeks. I was suppose to spend New years Eve in Brazil on Copacabana Beach getting wasted.My sister and I were traveling together the day after Christmas, then New Years Eve My fiance Juan, and a friend of mine Emily were going to be flying in New Years Eve night. And then everything would b posies and glitter fluffy fun. We would stay at my dad's house in rio and then after that travel to buzios, were we would lay on white sandy beaches drinking coconuts. That was the plan.
My sister Jeanie is a duel citizen, for her situation she has two passports, one for brazil, because she was born there and one for the USA because of our dad, and her mother getting her Green Card.
One more thing I should explain before I start the story is that the reason my dad lives in Brazil was because Brazil was one of his "offshore banking accounts " before he got busted. So he lives a life of a rich bitch in
Brazil while my siblings and I do alternative things for life and kicks... must run in the family if you've seen pictures of my sister i have posted in journals back you would understand.
So my sister and I are at the Minneapolis Airportwe are about to go on a flight to Atlanta which would then transfer us to Rio.
Everything seemed to go wrong from the beginning, My sister got pulled aside when walking through the security and they searched her entire bags, took her too large tube of toothpaste out, but failed to see her knife and mace that was attached to her keys. I have this to say about that... the airport and airlines are all fucking idiots... I will explain later at some point. But that is the first example.WE then walk to the end of terminal "e" and Jeanine realizes she does not have her boarding pass or her American Passport.We Freak out, My sister and I both ahave a tendency to overpack so I offered to stay with the bags and search through them while she went back to the idiot security gaurds and ask if they had it... Which if you have ever been stopped they will take your boarding pass and ID to write down who they stopped and why. WE have 45 minutes until our plane leaves, we give up hope while the firrst few people are loading the plane. I tell her she still has her ID and her Brazilian Passpot , so she will be fine for the rest of the trip and ... she can get another boarding pass from the lady at the desk. Two minutes later the security gaurd comes up to jeanine with her pass and passport. ...Idiots , they had it the whole time and they left it open on the table for any person to take.
We get going from Minneapolis to Atlanta At this point.
WIth lots of army dudes on the flight...Atlanta... army guys...Makes sense felt very protected on the plane, off course the private sitting next to me kept ripping ass the entire trip and the being shoved my a stewardess.I thought the stewardess were not allowed to touch you, but she did, and boy did I feel violated.
I will try to explain what she did and you can tell me if it is wrong or not.
We had the seat that was right next to the front wall, so instead of seats, we had a big wall to look at.My sister and I were very sleepy, and I hate sleeping on planes . But I took some sleeping pills and went to sleep... with my feet pressed up against this wall, and my laptop in my lap. (because I am always paranoid of people taking my things while i sleep). So this bitch of a stewardess wakees me up like this: "Mam?"bangs on my laptop , (which is on my lap). and this isn't a pitter pat, this was hard enough to knock the laptop out of my hands and onto the floor, and my feet are pressed up against the wall. She then shoves my legs of the wall and makes me in turn halffall on jeanine and the miliatary man.And in a very stern tone says" you can't have your legs up there, whats wrong with you." and proceeds to walk down the aisle to her stewardess hideway by the toilets. If I wasn't half asleep and still in sleepy pill coma I think I would have lost it.
Is that wrong for a stewardess to do?
I don't like being touched.
we go to Atlanta, thank god for smoking rooms
so then we get on the ten hour flight ot brazil, i was stuck in a middle seat between my sister and some very obese man. So I didn't sleep a wink.
so by the time we got to brazil I had been traveling for about 20 hours. My sister because she is a Brazilin Citizen was able to go through the extrememly short line, while I had to wait three hours in the imigration Line. I get up to the little cubicle, and they open my passport and the woman who was behind the desk starts screaming at me in portuguese and screaming behind her shoulder, and then two huge Brazilian federal Police with the machine guns and everything physically drag me and my bag into a small white room.
I am in this room and they just start screaming at me in portuguese, I have no idea what going on . The only thing i could think of was of my Dad's history and the packages that he asked me to bring down. Thinking that they might have been something besides sheets and towels. And then I start to think of all the third world country prisons and how the Brazilian prison is horrible second to those in Africa.
And by this point, I have lost all hope, and am exhausted from traveling and I start to cry. Thinking that I am going to go to prison. (people are still screaming at me and pointing to my passport) which I have no idea whats going on. AndI know that crying didn't help me , because then they just screamed louder.
Eventually the reincarnate of the wicked witch of the west steps in and says"If I was in your position in America I would have been thrown in Jail and then Deported by now... blah blah blha AMerican Government."
I say" Listen Lady, I don't like my government either, I don't feel like you need to scream at me." She says well "Why did you come to Brazil if you don't speak portuguese?"and this ladies and gentlemen is what is called a trick question.
If I would have said"My dad lives here and I am visiting him." I would have gotten deported for not having a notorized letter that says where I am staying, how long, were I was born. How long has resident been living in Brazil...What I do on the weekends and what tampons I use. ect.ect"
If I said "I am a tourist and wanted to come to Brazil with the intentions of said tourist" ,I would of had to say which hotel i was staying at and how long and what i was doing each day.with the address and phone number of the hotel...which Usually on the immigration slip you just say a hotle name and they are satisfied.
Because at this point I didn't know what and why I was in this little room armed with machine gun clad gentlemen.
I changed the subject "why am I here?"
I have to go register for classes... So I will finish this when I get home.

small update, cause I am going to run out of internet time,
my trip has been the worst experience of my life, I have been stuck in argentina in some brothel district until the brazilian federal police decide I can go anywhere.
life sucks, but at least my fiance flew half way around the world for me so i wouldn't be alone.

We had a christmas party last night , which was awsome. lots of presents, food, and drinking.
I got a lot of awsome gifts from my friends and family. I think the best gift i got was from Juan, which were super expensive noise cancellation headphones for the airplane. My sister also got me these shoes that have beaded snakes across them
Otoki also got me a gift certificate for mac makeup which is so cool, cause i hate spending money on grease that goes on your face. Maitai also got me a star wasrs cooki jar, its the head of darth vader!
I hope everyones christmas or holiday was wonderful, I will be in Brazil till January 15th.

I have been in school and it has been sucking the very essence out of my soul, I believe someone is going to make muffins with it.
It is to the point now that... It comes the question... what do you wanna do? where do you wanna go? ... DO you want fries with that...oh god I hope not.
but all in all it has been good, just very very stressful.
I haven't been around as much do to some terrible virial cold i had, it totally knocked me off my ass and has been running through my system for about the last three weeks. Why must i be so human...grrrr.
The new club is the best place it think i have ever worked at.
it is so strict, the people are so nice and the money is getting better and better everyday.
they will be opening their dungeon in the spring. which is neat cause then I will be in charge of it.
so any suggestions would help.
My guy is good, He took care of me through all my sicky icky-ness. He also bought me tickets to the Dracula ballet for an early birthdya present.
If anyone wants to know what I want for my birthday, I can tell you right now. Best Buy gift certificates. As lame as that sounds... My TV broke... and I need a new one. But if I am actually going to buy a TV I want a cool one.
I don't have anything really exciting happening in my life right now... except my birthday... which is making me feel old and scared of myself.
it is my golden birthday.... 23 years old on th 23rd of November.
I have some not ok for sg prints I was thinking about selling... And was curious if anyone would be interested.
They are not ok for sg because some of them ahve other models or some of them are a little too Sand M. but If there are enough people, I will post some.
