Right so I hit the 30+ comment mark on my last blog, thus guilting me into a new one.

I don't have LOADS to report, unfortunately. I bought a Sherlock Holmes coat and I pretty much don't wear anything else out in public any more.

zoom image
My dorkery about BBC Sherlock and London in general actually knows no bounds. I also bought a Big Ben mug based off this twitter account.

zoom image
Lame.

This is mostly what I've been working on over the past few weeks:

zoom image

Yes, sketchup and autocad. Bathrooms and sliding doors. I try and keep things fun, breaking up work with these dudes:

zoom image
I said a few weeks ago on here that Tumblr had recommended I start watching Supernatural. I wasn't the biggest fan of the first season and it took a lot of interspersing with Dr Who to get through all the episodes, but now I am up to Season 5 and this shit is like crack, seriously. I love it. I love that there are fangirls AND SLASH FANS in the canon and that absolutely destroys my mind. I find myself giggling hysterically at most of the stories nowadays. Looking forward to finding out what happens next. I think I might be in love... with the Impala. That's inappropriate, I don't care.

Wow, I really have nothing of import to say. Maybe the next blog entry will come faster in order to cover up the shambolic nature of this one. I have shit on this weekend, yay!

Oh, before I forget... Please don't forget about my set One Ring, I flew to NZ to shoot it, I'll be heartbroken if it dies a sad death in MR. It's really in your hands now, if you like it, please go say something nice. Thanks so much to Terome for being an amazing commenter, you're insanely awesome and I love you to bits. love

Ramble on, team.

Hi gang!

I got a new tattoo!
zoom image

It's a Harry Potter tribue tattoo, Dumbledore's finest words! So many people get really serious Dumbledore quotes as tattoos, but I really think he would appreciate something more like this. You can be the biggest, scariest and most powerful wizard in the world, but you still enjoy yourself. Dumbledore rocks my socks. And now he does it literally. Har har. Ok that's beyond lame. It's still a little bit scabby around the edges so hopefully once that's all gone I will get a decent photo of it that I can spam the internet with.

I also have another bigger under-boob piece organised but I want to wait till my next cardiac checkup. How embarrassing would it be if I got this amazing ink and then had to go in for more heart surgery that sliced it in two?! The odds are extremely low, but I figured I'd just get my checkup first (it's overdue anyway) and THEN book the big tattoo.

I think my first tattoo scarred me mentally for so long because it was so BIG and painful and took 8hrs and I said to myself, "SELF! TATTOOS HURT!" and have been too chicken-shit to go get more. But this new one... done and dusted in fifteen minutes. I walked out of the studio (LDF Newtown, if anyone is interested) going THAT WAS GREAT! And I had this whole moment of 'I am NEVER getting non-text tattoos again!" which lasted a good 30seconds. I think the bug is finally biting me though. I want more MOAR!

Also I suppose I need to wait till a few projects I have in the pipeline are done and dusted too. Imagine booking a model and then she turns up with a whole new piece of ink on her abdomen. Probably should get a warning about it first, right?

ANYWAY

I'm feeling talkative today apparently.

Here are some pictures of me being all naked and stuff..

zoom image

zoom image

zoom image

The photography is all done by Exkyu we were down at this nudist beach shooting a set for Puffin (not the one she has in MR currently, but go look at it anyway, ok?) hopefully we can get it submitted soon because I want that girl PINK so I can do a multi with her. An Aussie multi, imagine it! The last time that happened was before I was even on the site at all.

Speaking of MR, please don't forget this little dude. Still not bought. Still not King (I wonder if any of you ever read the Very Secret Diaries that came out around the time Fellowship came out. Quality fan fiction for it's day. Well before Maya and Cassandra Claire and whatever you kids are reading these days (ivyblossom... haha, I know I'm still cool... or you know, the OPPOSITE of cool).

Here is me being introverted and cool (cool is a cool word, I think it should be less 90's and daggy and more awesome than it currently is). I really need a bowtie and a fez. Bowties are cool.
zoom image

I also did a gig for Suicidegirls, which I am sure I told you I was doing. I don't have any photos or videos back from people yet but here is what I took on my phone...

zoom image
At the beginning of the show I was all blonde schoolgirl and then I rip all that off and bam redhead sexyness happens. I also set my boobs on fire and gave away a whole lot of SG merch. T'was fun! Hopefully I can get a video uploaded to here soon and you shall all see how amazing I am tongue

zoom image
A trail of SG stickers followed me wherever I went

zoom image
These girls thought I was 19/20yrs old. Best day ever.

zoom image
I was also in Aussie Picture Magazine a few weeks back. This is my fave pic from the shoot, I actually look like ME which is novel.

SO I suppose I should get back to work or something. Hopefully this has been suitably thrilling for you all. For more regular updates go hang out on Twitter, if you're good at taking photos and sheet then go look at me on ModelMayhem. Hopefully soon there will be more MR goodness for you guys to enjoy, but I will wait till something gets bought first (cross my fingers, toes, eyes etc.) My cat says hi. She's a bossy pain in the butt.

LOVE!
xx

PS: I am the real.

I've just been reading the first of the comments for my new set 'One Ring'. You are all so wonderful and lovely, thankyou. This set is one I've wanted to do for years, unfortunately I'm not in the habit of flying down to New Zealand on a whim so it's had to wait quite a while. As you can see, however, the beauty of New Zealand in the Lord of the Rings movies is completely natural. It really is amazing to be a part of the landscape there. You can probably tell that where I shot the set is right near where the battle of the Pelennor fields was shot (same grass, terrain etc). And the very same valley where they shot the White Mountain Foothills (onto which they CGI'd in Gondor). It was so difficult to pick a location to shoot, the day involved a LOT of driving around just looking for somewhere perfect.

zoom image

zoom image

(anyone notice this little easter egg I shopped in? Just for this pic).

It wasn't as cold as it looked either, but the breeze coming off the snow was rather fresh! I suppose I was asking for it though, shooting that close to a freaking glacier.

I wasn't interrupted by any passing bushwalkers which made for a nice change. I am still reeling from my naked encounters with passing motorists during the shooting of Country Avenue. But there were no issues this time. Far enough away from the road with some bushes between me and the rest of the world. I heard some voices not to far off when I was getting dressed again but nothing other than that.

I wish I could have spent more time in New Zealand. If you ever go, budget MORE than two weeks, you really need it! There is so much, it's all so far apart, plus the people and the (amazing tattoo) culture and so on. I honestly think it's one of the only places I could move to and NOT miss home.

Speaking of home, I'm rather hungover and I haven't had my morning cup of tea yet... I should do that. So here are a few more pictures from my NZ adventures and a video from my new youtube channel SexyPaleoFood!

Note to SG: I can categorically state that I have never said 'Blotto' in my LIFE. smile

On with the blog...

I'm feeling really positive lately. I've been working hard and it's paying off. Who'd have thought! I am always more inclined to blog when things are going well, so here I am! smile

zoom image

I got naked on a beach a couple of weeks ago. I don't usually get the photos back from these kinds of 'glamour' shoots because they usually just get sent directly to the editors of whatever publication we're shooting for, but this shoot was a bit of an exception which is lovely. I really like how the pictures came out, I look much more like ME than what I do in a lot of shoots I do in this genre. I mean, the only place I look like ME me is right here on Suicidegirls. This place rocks, I am reminded of that every single time I shoot for another publication. But these photos have a definite passing resemblance to me (minus the heart surgery scars, oh photoshop) which is cool.

zoom image

It was a terrible, stormy day but I stuck it out like the fucking pro I am! Haha. The photographer was great too, lots of fun to work with and not awkward about posing me or saying the word 'breasts'. It's only awkward if the photographer MAKES it awkward in my opinion. I'm annoyed though, I bought a whole lot of really nice bikinis on ebay for this shoot and they didn't arrive till today. Though the outfits I DID have were all pretty nice, so no complaining!! And now I have two awesome bikinis that I only paid $6 each for. If any of these pics get published, I'll give you guys the details, don't worry.

I also took some pics for the Viveros + Suicidegirls merch campaign. They're nothing fancy, just here in my house with my jeans on. Haha. I really like this one, I often wonder if I could maybe one day get signed to do normal clothing modelling. I love the naked stuff but I don't think of it as 'real' modelling because pretty much anyone can do it (provided you're willing to be naked in public). I kind of discount it's value a bit too, I guess.

zoom image

Other than photoshoots, I've just been focusing on being a grownup (aka: keeping my clothes ON). I have started my own youtube channel about the Paleo diet and healthy eating/living. It's been SO FUN and I've made SIX WHOLE DOLLARS already! haha. This venture isn't about money though, I have been wanting to branch out and do something like this for ages. I am really passionate about paleo, nutrition and eating healthy. You can check out the channel here it's called SexyPaleoFood. I wanted to just call it SexyFood but that name was taken. Boo! I will probably upload a vid to SG soon with me talking about the channel etc. Just have to get off the couch and film it! I hope some of you guys get involved, I have never felt so healthy than what I have since going paleo/primal. It's great.

I've been on a massive fitness kick too. I guess we'll see where that goes. Nothing to report yet. Other than a whole lot of sore sore muscles and one or two new pole tricks.

I've been busy with my architecture stuff too. Started charging more (ok, I doubled my fees) because I realised how much everyone ELSE in this town is charging. It feels like I got a payrise overnight but at the same time that payrise won't come into effect till I finish off all my existing contracts. Got to get on with it! Sometimes I feel like running your own business is 90% emails and 10% actual work. Does anyone else get that? I need to become more diligent in this area, I am SO lazy when it comes to normal work. I guess because no one is standing there watching me work or not work. Does that even make any SENSE?

And finally, my photoset is queued for March 8th. It's called One Ring and I shot it at Mt Cook National Park in New Zealand! SO EXCITED! I hope you guys like it, I love love love it so much. It's a bit rough around the edges, but I was in the middle of nowhere with snow and ice in the background and gale force winds so that's to be expected. I didn't feel very elvish, hopefully I look it, though tongue

Now, I need to go watch more BBC Sherlock. I'm addicted. And probably in love.

Yay! It's me! How good is this picture? I've had it for ages and never really looked at it then I opened up the file one day and BAM! Amazing how you just miss some things sometimes. My hair was REALLY flat in the original so I flumped it up on PS and bam! Problem solved! There are equally amazing outtakes that I've found from several SG sets of mine that I just didn't notice at the time either. This is why second opinions are so great.

That's my guiding lesson for today. tongue

Kemper is on the front page and she is awesome so I am going to tell you all. Also here are 59999 hopeful sets that I think are good at the moment. Just kidding, I hate those lists, they always make me cranky... there are all these amazing sets that I then have to go look at and comment on because that's the way I roll. SG should buy more of them. So there.

I am drinking some new tea, it's mint slice flavoured (mint and cocoa pieces in with black tea) YUM! My mouth is having an orgasm right now. YUM!

You guys send me pretty weird messages on here sometimes. Just sayin'. Sorry I never write back, I get too many to keep up with and most of them are pretty odd. Sometimes I worry that I don't have anything to add to what you've all already said. I find it weird when people describe themselves as being 'fans' of me. What the hell, I'm just some naked girl not a celebrity TV chef (one day soon, though...) Apparently this thing that I have is known as imposter syndrome. I think it's pretty common amongst young people.

Speaking of impostors, the first house I designed ALL BY MYSELF is being built at the moment. I am stupidly proud and you should be too. It's awful but the client is happy with it so yay for me. Up till now, it's just been extensions, back rooms and granny flats. This is a HOUSE. Amazing.

Here's another pic of me from that same folder. Very toothy.
zoom image

I don't really have a whole lot to say today. I've been pretty busy with work and also doing some paid photographic shoots for various photographer's portfolios. I'm going to Sydney soon to hopefully shoot for a rather fancy gentleman's mag (no more Picture and People mag for me? Time shall tell). Hopefully it goes well, he seems keen to shoot me for commercial stuff too which I find interesting. I can't imagine being on a catalog for woolen jumpers... that actually just took me ages to think of something, my first instinct was to go with ab-doer's but they'd want a muscly lady for that and I'm not muscly. Haha. Maybe car insurance. I don't know. I doubt it will amount to anything, I'm just an imposter after all, tongue

I'm in a weird mood today. One of those 'world be damned, I don't care' kind of moods. But I probably should just get back to work. Toodle pip.

Hi gang!

I'm well and truly back from New Zealand but life has just been so crazy-busy that I haven't had a chance to update my blog on here or be online at all really frown boo.

Here are some pictures though, hopefully that makes up for my lameness:

zoom image

zoom image
That's rather a lot of ice... the Fox Glacier, I went on a tour and climbed it. It was pretty surreal standing on so much ice.

xoxozoom image

zoom image
That's the hot springs at Maruia Springs which was an authentic style little Japanese place in the middle of nowhere. It was freezing cold outside but the springs were lovely!

zoom image
Anyone who cares to explain this one to me can go right ahead. I found this sign in the middle of Bumfuck Nowheresville.

zoom image
Pelennor fields...

zoom image
Mt Cook National Park was amazing. I actually shot a set at the foot of these mountains and it's pending Staff Review/Member Review right now, here's a couple of teasers because I can't help myself:

zoom image

zoom image
While I was shooting I just kept looking around and saying 'I can't believe I'm the one who gets to shoot this set!' I feel like a Tolkien/LOTR themed set shot in NZ would have been done by now, but I don't think it has so I am pretty proud of myself for going ahead and doing it. The valley I shot in was actually filmed for Return of the King as a location and it's right near where the Pelennor Fields battle was shot. I couldn't even believe I was STANDING there let alone shooting there. It still hasn't really sunk in. That whole film series is so larger than life. I was a mess at The Hobbit's premiere here in Aus. I saw the film on Boxing Day and it was pretty ace. I've loved Tolkien forever.

zoom image
Christchurch has a temporary 'Shipping Crate' city, it's really cool, I am sad that so much of the CBD was destroyed in the earthquake, it was so beautiful.

zoom image
This is what was on the other side of the chicken wire frown

zoom image
Since I've been back, I've been in a couple of Aussie publications (ew, please don't look for too long, it's terrible).

zoom image

zoom image
Also, if you go check out the merch store here on SG, you'll notice there are a few pictures of me floating around including these ones. I'm pretty stoaked that I get to promote the site like this, definitely makes me very proud and happy!

zoom image
And here's a little candid for you guys, not sure if I posted it last blog, but even if I did it bears posting again.

So now I'm just chilling, trying to catch up on all the work I missed being overseas. Submitting this photo set was just the top of the list of crap I have to do. I hate being behind on stuff. frown I think I'll be caught up and back to regular life once the new year begins though. In 2013, I really want to start having more of a rhythm to life. I find that everything about my life at the moment is erratic. A Monday is as meaningless as a Friday to me. I work whenever, I do groceries whenever, I sleep whenever. I think I need to schedule life a bit more. For productivity but also general wellbeing. So I guess that's my goal for this new year. That and exercise and sunshine. I need more of both of those things. And tattoos. smile

I also have windows 8 now! And you know what? I don't hate it yet. I guess we'll see how that goes. smile
xoxo
NOVEMBER 20, 2012 @ 12:26 AM

So as you guys know, I'm in New Zealand. I've been here before but it was about twelve years ago and I really didn't appreciate the amazing beautifulness of this country because I was basically just a kid then. As such, I really feel like it's the first time I've been here and the place is just stunning.

I've toured a lot of the North Island so far, I have a few pics, but they're saved off my twitter because I have had very limited internet access while I've been here. Stephen Fry was right when he went on about the state of the internet here. Haha. I will definitely share MORE pics when I get back but for now...

I went to Matamata. Aka: Hobbiton. Squee!

zoom image

They have a team of gardeners there helping to maintain everything and making it beautiful. I think New Line Cinemas have a pretty big stake in it because they built the set all out of real materials instead of cinema set polystyrene. And I guess that's why admission to do the tour was so pricey. But it really is amazing to see it all and dance under the party tree.

zoom image

They are turning the Prancing Pony set into a function room and cafe. I can just imagine all the weddings that they will host.

I also went and swam in the hot springs at Lake Taupo. It was really beautiful there. This is me in my swimmers...
zoom image

And out of my swimmers...
zoom image

I shot a set in a hotel room but the camera battery died halfway through. It MAY be salvageable but I don't know. This is me dissapointedly sitting in my bath robe with my makeup all pretty...
zoom image

Havent shot anything outdoors yet as I haven't had the chance and none of the backdrops have been nice and secluded enough yet. Probably once I get down to Christchurch area there will be more photoset fodder.

I was a geek and went to the Weta Cave and bought geeky tshirts though.
zoom image

AND I visited the birthplace of the Rocky Horror Picture Show (and bought a DSLR battery charger nearby, phew!)
zoom image

And that's basically all the pictures I have from Twitter! I would connect up my phone and transfer some more across, but I think I'd end up with some scary iPhone STD from this machine I am using right now. Haha. I'm on my way over to the South Island which is meant to be very very scenic. Can't wait.

Be good!
xx
NOVEMBER 3, 2012 @ 04:03 AM

SG sent me some of their new merch collection, I LOVE IT! Such cute stuff.

zoom image

zoom image

zoom image

zoom image

zoom image
I don't think either of these items are in the store yet, looks like there is going to be a LOT of new stuff. I am coveting the lounge pants, the logo henley and the fill the blank tank (hint hint SG)! It's pretty cool that they'd send stuff all the way down here for me. I appreciate it!

Speaking of 'all the way down here', I'm heading off to New Zealand for a few weeks. Not working, might not even take a laptop, I'll just be relaxing... and geeking out at Wellywood/WETA. While I'm there, I might do a Lord of the Rings themed set. Or a Hobbit one because... wow, is it really 11 years since Fellowship of the Ring came out?! I AM SO OLD! But I honestly don't know what the weather is going to be like down there and I don't want to freeze my nipples off so we'll see. I would love to though because I grew up on Tolkein and why not just oversimplify an entire nation into one film! Ahem. Anyone got any recommendations (south of Auckland, north of Fox Glacier) about where to go? I want to see all sorts of stuff. I've been to NZ before, but it was when I was a kid and I don't think I appreciated it as much as I would have if I was an adult.

I spent way too much money on makeup yesterday. I should be ashamed of myself.

Night night.
OCTOBER 25, 2012 @ 08:24 PM

It's my birthday today! Another year older, but I feel basically the same. I'm going out for dinner tonight and last night a bunch of friends and I all got together for pub trivia. We did quite well, came 2nd, got a bottle of wine as a prize. Haha. The only answers I knew were 'may the odds ever be in your favour' which is a quote from Hunger Games and that 'Shadowfax' is Gandalf's horse and one other that I don't remember. But I'm always pretty useless with trivia. They never ask me questions that I know the answers to! Once again, we were short someone with sporting knowledge. Not great with aussie pub trivia!

Thank you SO much to everyone who has wished me a happy birthday and of course thankyou for all the comments on my sets! Lights was on the front page a week or so ago and Country Avenue is doing pretty well with comments even though it's still in MR. HOORAY!

I did a few photoshoots last week with some of the girls. And this time I actually remembered to take photos! Unfortunately, I've lost said photos SOMEWHERE on my computer. Boo!

Lily and I did a doubles shoot which I think will come out super amazingly sexy. Lily wants to do a set for SG, we are thinking she will shoot something in December for the site. I wish she had an account already so she could see what an awesome community we have here! She has an amazing body and loads of ink, ear tunnels and 1/4 of her head is shaved. HAWT! I love shooting with her so so much. Double redheads attack!!

Here we are goofing around before the shoot:

zoom image
Lil's face was too shiny according to the photographer so we started saying 'shine bright like a diamond' which then turned into 'shii briii like a diii mon!' I don't even know, hey. It was just soo great seeing her because I haven't in AGES!

Anyway, that's all I've got for now. Be good!!
