I had an amazing time in Sydney, last weekend. If you're ever wanting to go check out a stripclub I would totally recommend Pure Platinum. The whole time I was there I was just blown away by the fun, party atmosphere there. Not seedy and creepy in the slightest, everyone looked like they were having an absolute ball.
I did a photoshoot while I was there as well, here's a teaser:

The rest of the photos are going to be submitted in (probably) to Ralph Australia, FHM Australia or Zoo. There are some absolutely stunning ones that I am really really excited about, I can't wait to have access to them and post them ALL OVER THE INTERNETS!
I'm confirmed as an entrant into the 2nd heat of Miss Nude ACT which is going to be held on the 20th of July at the Capital Men's Club, Fyshwick. I am also looking into entering Miss Nude Sydney (but we'll see if I can get my shit together in time for the deadline!). I want to do something every day leading up to the comp. Today I did yoga and ate really really healthy and organised the music for my routine. Speaking of, does anyone know any basic DJ programs that will allow me to mix my music together? Suggestions would be really helpful. Miss Nude is much more like a burlesque comp than a stripper comp with big fluffy glittery costumes and the like. But I still want to practice my pole dancing and flexibility because I feel like that is just as important. Eep! Exciting! My goal is just to get into the finals for ACT. I guess we'll see, here's what the national finals look like:
My new set Country Avenue is still in MR. Sad sad sadface. Please go leave another comment, I am really starting to fret

Hi SG! If you haven't already, Country Avenue (still in MR) needs your love.
I had a wonderful week, this week. I actually managed to haul my ass onto MyFreeCams for a little bit and danced around. Every time I get on there I feel awful about how much I have been neglecting everyone because people are so excited that I'm online. It's a lot of fun and always kinda makes me feel a little bit shy and all aww-you-guys-I-didn't-know-how-much-you-cared-ish!
I also got an Instagram account. My username on there is the same as my Tumblr and Twitter usernames (CountessWylde). I am following the Suicidegirls account on there, not sure how to get them to follow me, they seem to follow all the SG's?
Here are some pics from there... I have been taking a LOT but I'm sure I'll settle down once the novelty has worn off...

Me getting ready for a shower. I need to get better at aiming my phone when I take mirror pictures.

From webcamming last night. It's a wig, don't panic.

My cat. It's funny because she has NO IDEA how many tins of whiskas she is theoretically surrounded by.

I met this lovely lady (SammRosee, some of you might know her, she is also naked on the internet). Again, I'm in a wig, don't panic.

Baa. Obligatory sheep.

Flowers!

An outtake from my Kissing Harry photoset on here.

And another one of me being a webcam goofball.
I visited Sydney and hung out with a bunch of SGAU kids, drank too much cider and gin and ended up losing a trivia game at the pub and then giggling hysterically and playing Diablo 3 on a mate's computer even though he was probably desperate to get on and play and I was just being a dork and not really caring. As a former WoW kid, I did pretty well once I knew which buttons to press.
haha, sorry Jeff. I made videos of Exkyu playing and getting yelled at, but I doubt they're interesting enough to post here for you guys.
I have a really exciting week coming up (not this week but the week after) which will be full of sexyness and fun. My friend that I did a few photoshoots with 2 weeks back was in Picture magazine this week, but not me yet. I'll let you guys know when I know. In the meantime, be excellent to one another and don't forget Country Avenue!

Country Avenue, please leave your comments.
No matter how many sets I upload to SG the part of the MR process where I wait and see if everyone likes the set enough for it to go FP will NEVER be easy. I have spent the last two days biting my nails over it, I hate this part of the process so much. Panic as the comment count slows, wondering if it's enough, hoping against hope. Obsessively checking my %, wondering if I should write a blog with a link, checking round the site to see if anyone's mentioned it in whatever threads. So so lame!!! I am learning to try and let go, let the comment count run its course. Thank you so so much to everyone who has left lovely comments so far. I really appreciate it and my eyes light up every time I see your familiar user pictures and names. I love hearing what you all have to say. I'm at almost 700 comments, I feel like if I reach 1000 within the next few days I might just be lucky and get a set on the front page again, I really hope I do, this is by far my favourite one so far. So please, if you like it and you have time, go flick another comment it's way.
Exkyu and I shot at about 2pm on a warm autumn afternoon. It was still very cool and I was grateful there was sunshine and the warm tar road to keep me from getting goosebumps. There were a few cars that went past while we were shooting. Because it wasn't a dirt road, you couldn't hear them coming so they would always suddenly be there. Also, there were people playing golf right near us at one point. I was sitting on the side of the road, midway through the shoot, completely naked and a car appeared and the old man driving it stared at me as he went past. I have no idea whether he was scandalised or whether I'd just made his day. We'll probably never know! Luckily when I was shooting the last part of the set where I'm walking along the road naked no one came past. I was so worried somebody would!!
The spot was so beautiful, though. Exkyu and I were driving along it just when the leaves had the first touches of yellow on them and I was so amazed at the beautuful colours. But when we came back 2 weeks later to shoot, it was even better. Even more golden and wonderful. I am so thankful to those poplar trees for being so beautiful and brightening everyone's day. And now they're brightening the days of all the SG members who see my set as well as those lucky people who can drive down that road at the right time of year. Photography is magical like that.
I hope you all have a wonderful day. Here's me being an ass at home...

xoxo
Edit; My Member review set is up, check it out here.
I feel like I've spent the majority of this week in front of a camera lens. Some photographers were in town so I did a bunch of shoots for a variety of local Men's Magazines. Some by myself and some with other girls. It's funny, I did the ModelMayhem thing in my late teens and the thing I heard back from everyone I worked with was how I couldn't pose and I was always stiff and awkward in front of the camera and that it was something I'd never be able to fix no matter how much I practiced. Since then, I have mostly just worked with friends or self-shot stuff and avoided the 'pro' photographers. I've always had the thought in the back of my head that I was a pretty average model.
It was a bit of a suprise this week to have the photographers be so positive towards me. I was told I was one of the best models they'd shot with that week and the lighting technician was joking to the photographer that he didn't need to direct anything, just press the button. Two days later, when I came back, the photographer was quite clearly excited to be working with me again and had apparently been talking about me all week. I'm really suprised, but also excited that maybe I have overcome my stiffness and pose-fail-ness. I think a big part of it is webcamming and therefore knowing my angles backward by now. And of course, shooting for SG!
Speaking of, here's another teaser for my new MR set coming out in 4 days... I hope you're all drafting up those amazing comments on your post-it-notes!!

I also really really wanted to share my experiences about these 'mainstream' shoots and how DIFFERENT they are to SG!
They photoshop off my surgical scars. Goes without saying. They're alright with tattoos (these days) but anything else out of the ordinary HAS GOT TO GO. I had my makeup lady putting foundation on my scars and anything that's left will be shopped off. One of the things I love about SG is how I can be my own freaky self. Also, really really heavy makeup, big curly hair and fake tan. I felt like someone else!!
I am always advised against wearing my glasses. I was told that it looked like I was trying 'to hide behind them' when I wore them. Which is crap, I just feel like they are a part of me now. It was so weird not wearing them for such long stretches during shoots.
When you're posing, if you move your arm so that even the tiniest bit of your boob is covered, they stop the shoot and correct it. If you take a picture with even one or two centimeters of boob covered up, that shot is a waste. It's amazing. Every image has to have BOTH boobs, your face and preferrably some butt. Which involves a lot of twisting. So basically it's impossible to do the SG-favourite PSFB because you can't face away from the camera. They never really take shots of bottoms or the artistic blur images of sideboob or hips or hands that I'm used to seeing on SG. Which is a shame. I think. It's just faceboobsvag.
Which brings me to the vagina thing... the more hardcore shoots that I saw essentially involved opening up 'your wings' (aka: labia minora) with fingers and showing as much pink as possible with legs spread. Wow, So full on. On SG, I got a bit of flack for this image (though, I maintain, if SG had a problem with it, they would have removed it from the set when it went live), in the more explicit men's magazines, that image would NEVER go to print because you can't seee anything internal.
There's also these weird rules like if one girl is on top of the other girl, she can hold her down by her hands but NOT her wrists because that's implied bondage and therefore illegal under Australian censorship laws. You have to both be smiling or obviously enjoying yourself (no serious faces) just in case someone cries coercion. Pinching nipples in a picture is considered 'a bit fetish'... seriously. Also 'kissing' one another just involves getting really close and slightly opening your mouths. lol.
In short, I just couldn't get over how DIFFERENT SG is from these 'glamour magazines'. People on here often complain about how SG is mainstream nowadays, trust me, it is NOT. I've now shot for both and I will do a set 1000 times for SG in preference to shooting for the mainstream dudes. They are fake, cheesy, their idea of an 'exciting set' is to shoot in a kitchen instead of on a couch. The lighting is all super artificial and the post-production... well, I'm sure when one of my shoots gets published I'll be able to scan it in and show you guys and you can be the judges.
Here are some behind the scenes pics for you guys from my iPhone:

Who's that tanned redhead in the background... do you recognise her?

Me with my SuperMakeup on. And no glasses... so I can't see.

Some of the lighting setup. There was another lightbox and an umbrella to the side as well.

Photographer doing his thing.

That hot redhead with the hip and back tattoos and half-shaved head is my amazing sexy lover girl Lily King. She is thinking about doing a set for SG and OMG YES!! Someone buy her an account?
Also, while we're on that, This hot Aussie gal needs one too! You want more Aussie SG's, don't you?
I feel like I haven't really got much else to say. So here's a picture of a bird:

This chap turned up on my friends' balcony and got very excited about my sunflower seeds. I love wild birds.

Hi everyone!
So I'm on the front page! I must admit, I've known that my set had been purchased for quite some time but I kept quiet so it would be a nice surprise for everyone. Surprise! I've received all your friend requests and everyone with a userpicture that seems above board will be accepted (if you don't have a userpicture or profile, you can always click this to keep up with my everything on SG). I am looking forward to getting to know all of you and having comments on my blogs once more!
I am so glad that I was at a Sydney SG meetup with Cohen, Puffin, Jovankat, Coldie, Mr. Photographer Exkyu etc when I found out about my set being bought so we could have another round of cider and celebrate together. It was pretty exciting because this is the first Australian set to go to the front page since 2009. My first set went live when I was at a meetup of SG Canberra kiddies too. It just proves we should meet up more often! Thankyou so much, to all of you, for helping this happen. Also, Congrats to Exkyu. He has an amazing photographer with a great eye and is so focussed and easy to work with. And obviously my love to SG for once again putting a dork covered in surgical scars on the front page.
Speaking of XQ... he and I went for a bit of a naked frolic (well, I was naked) on the weekend and my NEW new set is currently pending in the SG vaults. I am sure it will be in MR within a month or two. Maybe I'll get lucky with this one too! Here's a teaser:

It was intimidating getting naked on a road and on the roadside. A few passing motorists copped an eyefull I reckon, but the location was just too beautiful to pass up. I love autumn leaves and we get so few of them here (gumtrees gumtrees gumtrees) that I wanted to celebrate this beautiful avenue of poplars. The goosebumps aren't too obvious. I think I'm getting pretty tough with getting naked out in the weather. Not sure if that's a positive, though.
Other than scandalising passing motorists, I've been busy working on my own business stuff, plus another few projects on the side. Three of us Aussies are working on a Super Secret Project and I have been doing a lot of designing and graphics work for it. My novel is still a little stagnant. How do you progress once you've finished the first draft? I find editing so dry and I struggle to keep reading because I already know what's going to happen. I guess I have to just pull up my socks and make it a part of my daily routine. I've just finished Suzanne Collins' Hunger Games trilogy. I really enjoyed the first book, but I found the overall ending pretty unsatisfactory. For some reason I really struggle to like characters named 'Peter' that are described as plain, a little plump and not super eloquent. Mr. Pettigrew has ruined Peters for me for all time.
All my friends keep getting pregnant. At this rate, all I'm going to be doing this winter is knitting baby blankets! Ridiculous! Just take a look at my keyboard drawer in my desk.

Here's me in a car...

Don't forget I have a twitter, facebook and tumblr account if you're interested. It's all in my profile.
Have a beautiful afternoon! xoxo.

I'm trying to get back into writing. I feel like the universe around me is commanding me to. Everywhere I turn there are people talking about literature, about writing, famous authors and their prose. And then there's my book. 50,000 words of unfinished, clunky, first-draft. There is so much creation going on around me. Friends who are having babies (I'm up to my eyeballs knitting baby blankets for them all), buildings being designed around me every day, amazing websites taking shape, and then there's me, peripherally involved in everything, but not daring to dive in and get my fingers dirty. I've had enough, I have to pull myself together and join in.
There are two expressions I really live by. That's not true, there are so many. But these are the two that I have in my head at the moment. The first is "Never stand still", the second is "Stop and smell the roses". Right now, I'm torn between the two. I suppose, as with all things in life, balance is key. It is just finding that balance that is so difficult. Right now, the roses are winning. Roses in the form of the Game of Thrones TV series. I am completely, hopelessly addicted. It's like when I studied the political history of Rome. Only, the sex is better documented. And I'm a sucker for a good sex scene. If you haven't seen it and you like the idea of High Fantasy meeting Political Drama, I urge you to take a look.
Also, I might be moving house soon. I found a place that I like. It's cheaper than where I am at the moment and definitely shinier. The inspection for it is coming up, so I guess we shall see. I've fallen in love with it a little bit, the inspection will show whether a wide-angle lens and some skillful photoshopping has made it look as nice as it appears in the ad. Hopefully it's big enough. I could do with a change. Though, it means sacrificing my beautiful, tragically spider-ridden garden. I guess we'll see.
It's well and truly cooling down here. Winter is coming. Heh heh heh. Maybe I'll need to knit myself some socks and a blanket soon! I love the crisp, icy frosts in the mornings. Though they'll kill my poor tomato plants, frosts are so fresh and beautiful, I'm looking forward to it. Does anyone have any idea what to do with green tomatoes? I'm pretty sure I'm going to have a few of them on my hands before long. Why do my blogs always end with me talking about the weather? Apparently it is the most talked about topic in the whole world.
Here's a photo for you:

Ispent my day off, yesterday, reading The Hunger Games. If you like post-apocalyptic almost sci-fi stories about teenage girls GET AMONGST IT. I really enjoyed it. It was exciting and satisfying in a way that "I-know-what's-going-to-happen" books just aren't. I have been meaning to read it for a few years and I figured I should probably get on with it now that the film is about to come out here. I think I will see the film too. I enjoy ripping apart adaptations. Haha. I have some thoughts on the book but I don't want to spoil it for everyone. I'll just say this, the book's popularity, I think, shows that if gladiator tournaments were still the done thing, we'd probably all be there, cheering in the stands.
I just finished off some cold roast meat for breakfast. Some days I just don't feel like cooking eggs. Thank goodness for leftovers!! I've been eating paleo/primal for the better part of a year now, and I have to say that eating this way is one of the best decisions I've ever made for my health. I feel fantastic! I would recommend it to anyone! Also, I've discovered a love for dates that will not die. Yum!
My new set is up to 1000 comments! Thank you so much everyone, I am so happy with how it has been received. Can't wait to submit more to SG (if you want me). Feel free to flick some more comments it's way and we might even have a front pager!
Also, March was a fantastic month for Australian sets!

This is just a quick post to thank you for all the amazing, lovely comments on my new set in MR. Right now, I'm at about the 850 comment mark which is incredible. I am hoping we can hit 1000, but we'll see! I'm glad you all seem to like it so much, I am really happy with how it turned out. It's wonderful having so much love and support for an Australian photoset, thank you. Feel free to keep commenting. <3
Some of my fave pics:

Clickity.
Also, I made a video. It's just me practicing pole at home, but I thought it was worth sharing. I'm always pretty awkward when I film stuff but I'm self-taught so it was never going to be flawless! I'm thinking of uploading another video where I actually talk! Maybe one of these days. Haha.

Hi guys! My new photoset is in MR. I hope you all like it, I'm so excited about it, hopefully it does as well as my other two, let me know what you think!

It is Harry Potter themed, but I decided that I wanted to pay homage to the experience of reading the book. I didn't want to get dressed up in Hogwarts garb or wave magic wands, I just wanted to be me. Reading my favourite book. Probably much like you have!!

My tattoo is an Australian native bird (I wonder if any of you clever kids can guess the species) on a eucalyptus branch, if you haven't seen it before...

It's autumn here, so I went acorn picking with friends on the weekend. We visited this amazing acorn forest. I have some great pictures of it, but as usual, pics from my iPhone won't upload themselves to SG.
So here's some pics my friend took that I pilfered from online:

I take no responsibility for the filter.

Ok, maybe it's not so hard to realise this is Australia.

Some horrible fungus we found in the undergrowth. The dark side is strong with this one!
Other than my outdoor adventures (we collected loads of acorns, never fear) I've mostly been holed up in my house here making a mess and watching True Blood. I am completely obsessed with that show. Why did no one tell me about it before?
That's all I have for today. I am so psyched about finally having a new set on SG. Hopefully you are too.

First up, this is the internet, so here is a picture of my kittens hugging:

And, here is one of Buttons with a pile of cash (it's funny because she has no idea):

One of the advantages of being paid in cash and being lazy about going to the bank to deposit it (I've deposited it now, don't worry) is the fun and excitement of photographing your pets with it.
I printed off the first draft of my manuscript (a novel about a fun loving stripper who inherits a rather large sheep station. It's Aussie as fuck and sort of romancey/comedy and all sorts of it's so awful and I need to edit like a madwoman) and then tossed it irreverently on the carpet to photograph. Behold the seriousness!

I took this week off and went on an adventure to my old stomping ground in Sydney. Been having Genealogy Adventures lately and drove much further west than what I would have liked in order to take a look at some beautiful old graves. Even found the droid I was looking for. I tried to upload a picture of some of the graves, but they won't seem to go... how ghostly....
Speaking of ghosts, I saw the sequel musical for the Phantom of the Opera, called Love Never Dies. It doesn't hold a candle to the original, but only because of the plot. The music and the theatre technical amazingness were just as great. It was a fun night out.
Also, while I was down in Sydney I met up with the unstoppable Puffin and shot a photoset in her uni share house (aka: her college dorm room). It was very casual and relaxed. Not the usual focussed work that set-shooting normally is. I'll be interested to see how the photos differ to my other sets. I am really excited about it. But, again, I am going to have to think of a name for it!
I've been a busy beaver actually. Shooting two sets within a fortnight of each other. Effectively doubling the amount I have submitted since 2009. Maybe this will continue!! With a couple of photographers nearby, shooting doesn't seem like such a big national effort.
Speaking of which, my new photoset "Kissing Harry" that I shot with Exkyu is queued to be released in Member Review for March 22nd at 1pm. I mentioned it in my previous blog...

Keep an eye out!
Also in the Aussie department, Cohen has a new set in Member Review. Go check it out and comment. She's a cutie and I need some Aussie girls to go pink so I can shoot multis!

Be good!
xx
