I bought a vegetable steamer! I never had one before now, its very exciting in a ridiculously domestic sort of way. I also got a new teapot for when guests come over because my old one is only good when I'm alone.
And incase you aren't already convinced that I'm a domestic bore... here's a pic of Bastard Cat in full winter coat glory! Nawwwww...
Anyway, sorry I've been a bit absent lately, I'm still around! I promise! Just busy buying books and then... reading them. You know.

how good are vegetable steamers!? ours is broken so we have to do it on the stove and they dont taste as nice
