Thank you to those of you who commented, messaged, offered to help and overall empathized with me about my man Jackson's bike being ganked last week.

Although the bar owner had surveillance on the entire bar, and scored a clear shot of the thief's face PLUS local neighborhood members and police saying that they THOUGHT they recognized the culprit, nothing came out of it.
The bar owner gave us permission today to post the camera stills, with the background removed to protect location of the bar's cameras.

Without further ado, here's the jerk who was recorded walking my boyfriend's bike out of the bar's patio:

Last night at a South side bar, my boyfriend ended a group bike ride by ordering some vegan tacos.
His and the rest of the group's bikes were parked, unlocked, on the fenced in patio.
He was only there for an hour, and within that hour a man walked in off of the street through the front door, grabbed my boyfriend's bike from the pile, and walked out the back door.

The bike is brand-new (nos) Jamis Aurora 2010(maybe 2011) in blue, with thin metal fenders. All stock.

I'm not sure if I can upload the photo via mobile.

Here's the kicker.


The bar is filled with hidden cameras. The owner has already sent us a clear shot of the man's face.

As soon as I get the okay, the thief's face is going to be posted all over the internet.

So, if you know anyone who has recently acquired a 57cm Jamis Aurora within the Columbus Ohio area, tell them they should probably just return the bike to the bar they stole it from.

Lucero tonight at Bluestone!

On Oak st I became dangerously close to having to choose between hitting another cyclist head on, or being hit from behind by a truck.
Then, minutes later on Bryden rd, I watched a bucket of bricks fall from atop a house, bounce off the porch roof and land, as I swerved, 5 feet behind me.
I must be in a cartoon.
