My newest love:

(The bike is the new love, I've had Gypsy-dog for a time now)

I wrecked my truck back in January and with that just decided that I could be car-less.

I took the bus in the worst weather, rode a mountain bike when there was still snow on the ground, and now I sport about the town on my pretty little Jamis road bike.

I've named her (phonetically) "Jam-ee"

Life has been a whirlwind of change, epiphanies and constant activity.

Too much to delve into.

I like the bike. If I lived in a more bike or walking friendly area I'd probably do more of that myself.

u lock is good. key lock, not a combo.

i had someone try and steal my schwinn circuit the other day....this is an old bike. only some weirdo who knows about bikes is trying to steal that one.

but, paranoia is good.

Since this is the first meeting -- let me first say that Gypsy is beautiful! Gah, really, what a great coat [at the risk of sounding like Cruella, whoops]. But I'm glad you did clarify that picture, because I totally wondered. ;]

Good job on the bike. Too many hills around here -- but that's just an excuse. It'd kick my ass.
I like the thought of a pretty girl riding a blue bike through town.
