Life has been rough. Sorry for lack of updates. Fundraiser was awesome and thank you all for donating. The trials for the research fell through. Raised a grand total of $650, which was stolen from someone I trusted. I personally want to apologize for their actions even though it wasn't my doing. I have been pursuing a court case against the person that decided to steal from me along with putting sugar in my gas tank. My car is no longer working and can't afford to get it fixed, so my health needs at Stanford have been put on hold. My local doctors have been altering my meds and have found a combo that is keeping me from getting worse at the moment. I've been doing physical therapy and staying positive. All the financial turmoils is ending in losing my house, my car and so far not my sanity. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you all! <3

Another message of desperation. Recently my hand/arm was injured after falling in SF after my doc appointment, so now it's all flared up. I have one week till I have to get all the money together to turn in for the trials. Hello everyone! Thank you ALL so much for your love and support! I cannot believe how much you all have helped over the last couple weeks. Anyway, here's an update so far. So Wednesday I had an appointment at Stanford. Everything went good. They were once again all shocked at the sight of my leg because it has gotten so bad. This next week I have more appointments and one of them with a urologist because I still have a catheter and cannot pee on my own since I had spinal surgery. I am hoping they have better news for me than what I have so far been told. As for the fundraiser, so far $645 has been raised. That is AMAZING! With just over 2 more weeks till the deadline for the research/trial, I am now beyond stressed and nervous. Next Saturday my family and friends have decided to put on a car wash which should bring in a good portion towards $6,855 left to raise. Please keep good positive thoughts regarding this and feel free to share this with anyone. Spread the news like a wild fire. I have Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, a chronic and very painful disease of the nerve involving central and peripheral nervous systems. For over 23 years, I have been living with severe dibilitating pain, in and out of wheelchairs and crutches, in and out of hospitals, etc. Undergoing many procedures & surgeries on top of being on nearly 400 different kinds of medications to battle my symptoms, not much has helped except for the implantation of a spinal column stimulator. Unfortunately my recent and 5th surgery to repair the implant failed, so it's back to the drawing board. Since the surgery I had didn't work, my only two options are to take part in research that unfortunately doesn't come free because of the lack of funding or I could be on over 10 different medications for the rest of my life. I would rather not take the latter option for financial reasons and the fact that it's not a way to live productively. I am desperately asking for help with donations and also to spread the word that I am raising money to help fund getting me into the research for a possible cure going on down in Florida/Mexico and at Stanford University. So far, the percentage of full recovery for people with CRPS/RSD after these trials has been about 75%. This is the highest recovery/cure rate for any procedure that has ever been performed. There are only 3 more available spots open, and I have until August 7th to raise $7500. This will cover my enrollment fees only. All of my resources have been depleted with having to pay out of pocket for medications that reach over $100 each. Not to mention paying out of pocket be seen by specialists around the West Coast and that hasn't come without a great deal of financial stress. There are so many of us that are going through financial turmoil and it has taking me till now to come to terms with asking for help, but I am desperate.
