I've been listening to Bjork's Vespertine quite a bit lately. It was an album I loved dearly when I lived in New York, saw her tour from that album at Radio City Music Hall (free 10th row seats thanks to my roommate Snorri!), it was always playing at my house. I think I almost wore out it's welcome. So now, a year and a half later, I'm on that kick again. I guess it's the mood it's evoking is so close to my own these days. Showing snippets of lyrics won't do it justice, in all honesty.
It has bits of hope, love, mystery, sensuality, joy, calm, girlish charm, and bizarre dreams, all rolled into one. I know there are so many people who can't stand Bjork. But you must listen to this album. ♥♥♥
