I've been listening to Bjork's Vespertine quite a bit lately. It was an album I loved dearly when I lived in New York, saw her tour from that album at Radio City Music Hall (free 10th row seats thanks to my roommate Snorri!), it was always playing at my house. I think I almost wore out it's welcome. So now, a year and a half later, I'm on that kick again. I guess it's the mood it's evoking is so close to my own these days. Showing snippets of lyrics won't do it justice, in all honesty.

It has bits of hope, love, mystery, sensuality, joy, calm, girlish charm, and bizarre dreams, all rolled into one. I know there are so many people who can't stand Bjork. But you must listen to this album. &hearts;&hearts;&hearts;

How funny. My friend a_to_the_f just gave me a burned copy of that same disc this weekend. I've been listening to it pretty non-stop as well. Weird. It is is great record. I've never been a big Bjork fan, I've always liked her, but never really got into her too much, but that's beginning to change.

mmmmmpapalote....i am hanging out with ryan this evening, i am sure he'd be into some good burrito action since i made him go to the worse burrito place (yep le altena) last night. gross. it was 2 am.....i wasnt walking more then 2 blocks at that time for a burrito. yea let's hook it up....give me a call and let's make some plans.

awesome. I was pretty trashed. I have a reciept for a debit card transaction for two dollars. you know you're broke and drunk when you're buying two dollar drinks with a card.

i've wanted to bear björk's children since 1986.
i hate matthew barney because he's married to björk and so far i've only managed to get her to spit on me, which is further than you've gotten so worship me.

i got to see her here in the city last August down on the Pier. beautiful show. i love that album, it's my favorite one she's done.

i named my cat vespertine shes cute but mean as hell - someone told me the reason she is so mean is because i named her that. i developed an unhealthy obsession with bjork after seeing her in august at the hollywood bowl in CA but i think i am finally getting it under control

hey there. just wanted to drop you a line to thank you for the hospitality when I was in SFO.

Had a great dinner with Lara, Stephen, and our friends Chrissy and Melissa at a little cuban place a week ago Saturday.

Dill and I flew to Nebraska Friday and bought the building! Been doing demolition ever since!! what fun!!
