I was a bad girl. I spent money whilst unemployed. I bought yarn for a new project for the Stitch n Bitch (Round 2) I'm hosting on Sunday. The salon I was interviewing at today happened to be near a well-known record store that I'd *gasp* never been into. So I shopped. I found XTC's English Settlement and Oranges & Lemons used, 5 bucks each. I splurged on a new cd too--The Shins' Chutes Too Narrow. Acquisition has been my friend, and I downloaded quite a bit of Chutes but I needed the whole thing. I'm not disappointed. Now I'm quickly transferring my happy purchases to my iPod. Color me stoked.
As far as that interview went... it was my second with that particular salon. Yeah, I don't waste time with this shit. Looks like I'm a shoe-in. The manager just needs to get back to me in the next couple of days. So much for kicking back!
Tonight I'm off to this show:
They're playing both tonight and tomorrow night at the Hemlock. Even if you can't get to the show, do go check out the bar. Love that place.

Coco, you've got that energy that people instantly know when you are around. It must have been hightend today, more than likely due to the interview. Confidence can be very alureing as well.....
Your Ipod: Do you actually fill it to capacity? I've been debating a purchase of an mp3 player, but I know I don't need 20gigs of storage.

oh, and i so wouldn't care at all if you wanted copies of everything i owned. i have a lot of crap, but...when you have lots of money, then you can buy the real stuff. until then it's all about swapping with friends. but yeah...five bucks, can't really beat that.

Hope hope hope you get the job!!! So, everybody was after Ms. Coco today? I believe it. Funny how that happens. Lately, I've been getting attention from psycho girls, gay men, white trash rascist assholes, and cats (of course!). I understand the cats, but all the others.....go figure! If you get this job, are y'all still coming to SXSW? It should be fun, but so far, the line up has been less than stellar. Enjoy that show tonight!!! !
