Well. It's back to work and school for me. I think today may be a short day at the salon. Everyone in the financial district is still on vacation, so we're crossing our fingers that we can close up shop at 4pm. Not bad for a day that I so badly wanted to stay in bed!

Today is a special day... the birthday of my friend Neil in DC, and my friend Snorri in Brooklyn. I miss both of them so much! The East Coast calls to me sometimes.. but not when it's snowing. Sorry kids, you'll have to wait until spring to see me.

Man, the rain is really coming down today! I hope it's not pouring tonight... gotta send the ratgirl off in style. You'll be missed, lady.
