Was looking at last Journal. Thought 1984 was a reference to either Van Halen or Crass (Best Before 1984), but followed the 'cowboy's trail to find the right one... funny thing is, I like Orwell a lot; funnier thing, I really prefer his nonfiction. Essays, ...Catalonia, and I consider Down and Out... nonfiction (it seems totally journalistic in nature).
