Life is so good right now. The weather is rad, I have a bike again for the first time in over a year, and there are just a lot of things going on in general. Last week I saw No Turning Back and The Mongoloids play, go check them out, they are solid dudes and put on a killer show.

I just booked a trip to New York City in September to see my friends and go to the Great American Hardcore Fest in Boston which is going to be fucking crazy. Have you seen the line-up? I can't wait!

Next weekend I'll be in Prague with about thirty babes (including Rigel, Jive, Honey, Benten, Morrigan, Dwam and Rashel) which should be a rager. Many thanks to Key for organizing this shindig. Expect a bunch of pictures and wild stories upon our return. I'll be shooting a set with IvyLlamas so keep your eyes peeled for that in a while, but Brooklyn and I shot a set at her house back in February which should see the light of day first.

Last night I saw the movie Cheri with my mom. I recommend seeing it if you're into costume dramas (or just Michelle Pfeiffer - she's still goddamn beautiful at 51 years old) but of course that's not for everyone. Great (and sad) story, though.

Actually, I'm surprised Hollywood made it and not surprised if it is the Cheri I am thinking of. There were two novellas written by Collette: 'Cheri' and 'the Last of Cheri'. I'm not surprised because Colette also wrote 'Gigi' which was a huge hit back in the day and done as as a musical with the strange and strained hit song 'Thank Heaven for Little Girls' considering that the Gigi books were about a girl marrying a friend of her father (or just the same age as her father) instead of just being pimped out as a "courtesan". The film starred an excruciatingly handsome Louis Jordan and a clearly very young but certainly not 15-year-old Leslie Caron.

I am pleasantly surprised because there is not a more perfect choice than Pfeiffer, and that this Colette vision will not need to be diluted in any way shape or form --and that I didn't see it coming, not even after MP's brilliant bout with Danielle Day Lewis in 'the Age of Innocence'.
