i just got back from groezrock in belgium yesterday, this year was so much fun. i got to see some great bands (amenra were pretty fucking epic) and a couple of not so great ones, but above all the afterparty with comeback kid and bane was really where it's at. i don't remember half the shit that went down and i think i would have bled cherry beer if i cut myself, but it was by far the best night of '09. ask kip, she knows exactly what i'm talking about. i think we were both still somewhat intoxicated when we woke up. last night's show was good but nothing too wild.

the fight club set we shot in vegas last february just went up and it turned out amazing thanks to cherry who did a fantastic job and everyone else involved. i'm stoked to have been part of such a sweet set, even though i'm really only in a couple of pictures. there is another similar project that features a multitude of hot girls that i was involved in, but when that goes up on the front page shall remain a mystery.

We were just in Mexico and my best friend Lee and his partner James just got engaged. I'm so happy for them and cannot wait until they get married. I'm really thankful for living in Canada and that's one of the reasons.

I kept seeing you in the background of the set, cheering someone else on and I kept hoping that you'd be next up to kick someone's ass.
Also, fuck Miss California. I've met people that believe in creationism and still think denying gay people the right to get married is wrong. That's how backwards that belief is and yet it's so damned prevalent in this country.

I get so worked up about it because one of my best friends who I've known since highschool is gay, and I honestly love him to death. I could never imagine him NOT being able to marry anyone that he wanted to. It's like they are restricting his happiness.

Simply not cool.
