Hello dear friends.

My life has changed drastically in just over a week. We've found out that we're expecting a baby later this year, and I've had to make some rather sudden decisions in this short time. No worries, I plan to keep SG close to my heart--especially when I need to remember what my body used to look like

Obviously, I had to give up dancing, but I've been wanting to for a long time. It's been so easy to give up smoking and drinking, but I can't tell you how much better it is to be out of that environment all together. Just trying to avoid it all was making me quite desperate to make a run for it. After nearly a decade of hoofing it, I thought I would go out with a bang, but it was more like a whimper. I quietly walked out of the dressing room with nary a word for anyone and less than $200 to show for it. Oh, well. That's probably a sign they only want the drunk version of me anyways.

On a good note, I've found a nice, cushy desk job part time. Hopefully, after my training I'll be able to find another waitress job elsewhere. Mommy's gotta eat

I've started a blog on tumbler for little Eggbert (temporary name, of course). It's just a few words here and there as they come to me, but I hope you all can find some humor in them. I promise not to be too grousy. Well, maybe a little.

Anyways, I hope my words find all of you well. Wish me luck.
