I grew up in Honolulu, well right outside of it anyway. For one of the most glorious beaches ever, go into Kailua (on the other side of the island) and go to Lanikai Beach. It's pretty popular now because the islands have been getting a lot of attention, but I can assure you that it is one of the most magical places on earth.

Also, if you get a chance, go up to the North Shore. It's more of what Hawaii really is. Sharks Cove and Haunama Bay are excellent places to snorkel.

It will be fun.

how long you stayin. and how much were your tickets. im sure you got them at skyauction. im just trying to see what the total for 2 people were. i'm trying to plan a trip to honolulu as well for the end of the summer for 2.
