So Bush has announced to send 21000 more troops to Iraq. Yay. so much for getting us out of there and cutting out our numbers. I have been lucky to not have been sent, but I'm sure once i finish this school, i won't be able to dodge the metaphorical bullet....I better pray to dodge real ones. Thne, on top of that, Democrats want to cut the budgeting...while that may help in preventing so many of us from going over there, it will also hurt the soldiers that are already there...where do they think the money for food and water for the troops comes from? Body armor? Port a potties? Not a good move. Guess i should start praying for the mercy of the Chinese Mandarin Language Gods to make sure my ass stays right here at least until october. I am proud to be doing what I am doing, but I don't necessarily want to go to war. But if that's what i gotta do, so be it. At least I can kick some ass while I'm there, right?? shocked

Could Bush Be any worse as a President? Aarrgh!

If we need to keep a stabilizing force in the area . . fine. We can pull all our troops back to the oilfields, and let them stat to pay us back with free oil. Then, if the iraqies get into trouble, they can call us for limited assistance. We seriously need to stop trying to be the world's police force. There are lots of other countries in the area, that should be handling this, not us. I hope you don't have to go there!

So . . . you got a set accepted? That's great! Congratulations!

I was able to dodge the bullet while I was in just by getting the right orders. Hope you dodge that bullet too. I know to many people that have gone over there, I hate hearing about more. This open ended war has got to end before we go broke and kill off/ injure the whole next generation, and sending more bodies at it isn't going to help. It didn't help in Vietnam, it needs to be a UN problem now.

Yea, I agree, if we sent another 100,000 troops at them we would win, but at what cost. We'd have a lot of casualties. It doesn't help that we keep pissing off the public over there more and screwing with their government and trying to turn the place into a capitalist dream society. Which turns the populace into more bodies with open ears for rebellion.

anyways, enough of that. Your profile pic is gorgeous and I can't wait to see your set.
