Once upon a time, this set went up on the front page of SuicideGirls, some of you may remember that, but it's okay if not. What I have to say is the same thing regardless!
That set was the reason I decided to shoot sets of other girls.

I don't often talk about the sets I shoot because I prefer the photos and girls to speak for themselves, but here goes...
Last Summer Sash and I shot this set. Sash had a pretty tough tumble on her bike the weekend before during SD Comic Con and we decided to capitalise on the amazing bruise she got from her wreck.
Sash is one of the most beautiful and wonderful girls I've met through the site. I feel lucky that I always get to work with her on conventions and at SG. And she's not just sexy either - she is incredibly intelligent and a bit of a nerd like me too!
Upon seeing it some have decided that this set is about violence against women. Let me just say... what utter nonsense. I am totally against abuse towards women. It's just wrong. And believe it or not I feel very strongly about this since I have been physically abused by both a woman and man in my life before.
Shooting a set like this, however, doesn't condone that. It doesn't even infer that unless it's what you see in the photos. There's absolutely no explanation as to how she got her bruises, black eye or split lip. There's no man (or woman) in the photos beating her senseless or abusing her. There's not even anything in the photos that she could have been abused with.
I'm sorry that some of you find the photos disturbing, I really am. But I do want you to realise that this set was never about abuse against women. It's Sash's personal fetish. I think it takes an incredible woman to stand up and tell the world that she's turned on by something unusual.
This is the main reason I began shooting for SuicideGirls: I wanted to help women show the world their own personal sensuality; whether that happens to be rolling around naked in a bed or cuts and bruises it doesn't matter to me. The best sets I shoot go like this: if the girl feels sexy then the photos will be sexy. End of story!

Now that's off my mind you may have missed my last short-lived entry! Here it is again:
