EDIT: Here's the photos I took at the booth! See if you can find yourself http://suicidegirls.com/members/Missy/albums/site/8182/
I'm home after my little big trip to San Diego Comic Con (and two day trip to LA). So, again this isn't going to be any profound update or anything. But, I have a whole Ton (UK Ton that is*) of photos for you to feast on.
*a UK Ton is the biggest Ton measurement.
I had such a good time, and I wish I could write down all of my stories for you to read but I fear for two things 1. boredom (on your part) and 2. Showing myself up for being a huge fangirl. (I already did that enough AT the con).
Okay, some of the highlights of my weekend so you don't ask me for stories! (I currently have 1349 unread PMs just on SG alone. Not that I don't <3 them of course).
- Getting to talk to WilWheaton for a while with Rigel about the con and hot ladies and why it didn't matter that we were fangirls (harrharr).
- Nerding out about computer stuff with RStevens of http://dieselsweeties.com and of course getting the crushable Red Robot (and Socks!).
- Talking with Leonard Nimoy about photography, getting his photo book and a hug!
- Meeting Brent Spiner with Rigel and being told that "Mr. Spiner would like a word with you ladies". (Sorry we wanted the Data photo!)
- Literally running into McK after (years??) and seeing how well his amazing comic Phonogram is doing.
- Having my portrait sketched by Paul Richards of Vigil games (Paul, if you're reading this I lost your card and I noticed my website was spelled wrong! oops!! Get in touch - cherryvega@gmail.com)

(top is Bob and I, bottom is me!)
- Meeting Sam from Exploding Dog and getting a sketch of a Duck with LAZER EYES!
- Speaking with Gabe and Tyhco of http://www.penny-arcade.com/
- Wandering around the small artist booths during the last hour of the show. There is some unbelievable talent out there. Not to mention people that constantly make me laugh with their funnies.
- Jumping the line to have my photo taken with Rigel on the "bridge" of the enterprise (the paramount booth).
- My favourite comics I received were Trinkets and Snitch and Snatch by Michael Diaynas and Acid by http://tarifazombie.com/
- I also really like my print and comic from Cody Vrosh of Binary Winter.
- Hearing about all of the fun Science Fiction movies/shows coming up. I didn't get to see them, but I heard a lot from people who stopped by the booth.
- Speaking of which, getting to talk about everything I love with just about everyone who stopped by the booth.
- And of course, the cosplayers. Too many to mention and/or list, but I especially loved the guys in the super authentic Stargate uniforms who were real marines (was that you??) and the guy I called from across the isle with the fallout 101 boiler suit and working PIP BOY!! (again, are you out there? say hi! cherryvega@gmail.com)
- Being the "go to" girl whenever any of the others wanted to know what a costume was from (sort of embarrassing I suppose but I have to be good at something)
- Finally, the atmosphere of Comic Con is like no other. Of course, nothing is perfect, but this show is as close as I've ever seen to it.
(I feel like I'm missing something, and sorry if I have!)
Apart from all of the nerdy shenanigans we got upto I really enjoyed meeting existing members and new people who decided to sign up that day. Not to mention all of those pretty books we signed. Did you get my signature? Sorry if it was messy... my handwriting is terrible.
Let me know if we ran into each other around the show and I haven't spoken to you since we've been back.
Okay, so before I launch into the photos, I just want to say that the group of SGs we had at the booth were so amazingly beautiful inside and out. I miss everyone so much! (Sash, ViquiV, Rigel, Chloe, Bob, Jaylin, Saint, Radeo, Evette, Tristyn, Atlas, Coley, Dot, Aleon, Aleena, Astatine, Zoli, Vice, Squeak, Nixon, Lyxzen, Irinka, Dii, Antigone) You all made the con so much fun, and you were so good to work with and spend time with. What an incredible group of ladies.
Pretty much all of these photos were taken with my iPhone (I know, I know). But, it was too busy to lug the giant camera around with me. Soon there'll be a folder on Missy's page with photos that I took with fans and cosplayers so I'll update with that link when I have it.

LA in a nutshell
A shoot with a client I was very much looking forward to working with fell through at the last minute, so I ended up filling my Tuesday with 7 SG shoots in about 8 or 9 hours.

And then, the flight(s) home:

(Science Fiction follows me around "Air Canada Rocket Chips" sadly not rocket shaped. Talking of... join the Science Fiction group if you haven't already)
Phew. This took me a good hour and a half to write/upload so, I hope you enjoy living vicariously through my snippets. I really can't wait for next year - there's no way I'll miss it.
PS a few more from around the internet:

(Leonard Nimoy took this for Rigel and I)

(Thanks Rigel!)
