i just made a delious pumpkin soup...proper winter warmer!even though its getting close to summer, it is still fricking cold here.

you will need...

-2 onions
-1 stick of celery
-2 carrots
-1 tsp of plain flour
-half a pumpkin or squash
-2 or 3 slices of bacon (streaky is best)
-2 heaped teaspoons of curry power
-1 pint of chicken or veg stock (home made is better)
-1 tin of chopped tomatoes
-garlic 2 or 3 gloves
-you can also pop in a sweet potatoe nice but not nessicary

ok so sweat down the onions, celery, carrot and garlic,and bacon in some real butter and olive oil, (so that the butter wont burn) until translusant, then with the plain flour chuck it in and cook off for a few seconds.then in goes the chicken or veg stock, tin of tommies, salt and pepper (maldon sea salt is best)then the chopped pumpkin and sweet potatoe(in fairly large chucks 1in by 1 in ish) dont have to be to precise, this is a rustic dish, then pop in the curry powder,and cook down lid on for about 30mins or until the pumpkin is soft, then wizz it all up in a blender or like i do just mash the shit out of it.finish it with a drop or 2 of cream, and some parsly and chessy garlic bread to dunk...heaven

what a shit week x

i went to melbourne a couple of days ago, so nice to get out of the mad house for a few hours! i went to get my DO done by my hubbys faboulous friend at biba, just my roots but im all white white white again, and going to do a catwalk show for them...should be pretty cool, its something to do! but me on a catwalk "LOL"

well after we eb=nded up getting pissed as at this place called cookie, ended up knowing one of the mangers from our revolver days(dark times...melbourne kids will know what i mean!) so got on the vintage champagne and missed our fucking train back to the rat (a blessing in disgise, as we didnt have to spend th night pissed with the family) tryed to get a hotel, but no one would have us, i think they thought i was a hooker....o yeah!we headed back to cookie, and carriedthe fuck on....yeah!!!we then imposed ourselves on our friends, slept on the floor and woke up and threw up, nice!champers has a terrible effect on me, but i like drinking it!

so back in the ratdoing visa stuff as per usual, got a meeting on friday with a melbourne based magazine, hopefully do some modelling for them and see if they can shoot me a new set...its long over due dont you think?any ideas greatly welcome

So oz life, im settleing in a bit better, still struggleing with my new family, but they are kind and have opened there home to me, all they really knew about me was that there son fell in love with an english girl, he left them for 2 and a half years were married and noww living with them, its an adjustment for all i suppose....i reckon about a month and we should have our own place in melbourne...cant wait!

Money is pretty tight as i cant work until my permant visa comes through, which will take upto 6 months from the 14th of oct!my hub did start work at some dodgy bar last weekend tho.i need to try and sort out some modeling work, or start stripping or something, anyone knows of anything...please give e a shout!

did i tell you i went for my medical?it was grim, pissed in a cup, got stabbed for aids and got naked for numourous people...not fun, imagine cattle tradeing, there were over 200 people there, it was rank!

all i want in life right now is to be settled and to get a big fuck off pigeon tattoo portrait on my leg...i bloody love pigeons, they crack me up!

we went to bells beach yesterday, where point break was filmed....it was beautiful!!

Well i have arrived safe and sound....i have been here for just over a week, finally over my jetlag, which this time was a bit of a monster! Its good to be back, but we are currently living ina hick as fuck town called Ballarat (they found gold here, back in the day) were with my hubs mum until my visa is sorted which should take about a month or so(if i get it!) its hard living in a single bed and asking to borrow the car, as we have lived away from home, for almost 5 years....im on show all the time and my fucking face hurts from smileing and make polite conversation with everyone

Saying that this weekend we broke away to melbourne, and i rememebered why i love that place so much, we hung out with our good friends dan and lozza, drank smoked bongs and were merry...it was fucking great!

ok so i can do a proper update, cos my parents are at work and i got me a new computer!its weird being home, i have been so used to living on my own for the last four years, it makes me laugh that my mum still tells me off for a messy room, i guess some things will never change its been great spending time with them, but cos they are just the best parents ever makes it so much harder to say goodbye....this weekend is gonna be tough.but i have skpe on my snazzy new computer so ill be able to see them daily, even with the annoying time differance

so goodbyes are the hardest, but im not thinking them like that its more see you later, im makeing fake plans with everyone so i dont have to say a heartbreaking gooodbye.

me and my grandparents went to charlcotte manor the other day and it was so beautiful, my grandparents have been amazing through all this shit, and paid for half my flight, which was ridicouliously expensive £1163.00!!!!!!!!!!!my grandad is a watercolour artist and has painted my husbands family so quintessentially english paintings for me to take over, a bit of an olive branch if you like.how beautiful is this place
we had a great day.

been spending alot of time with my girls, my friend came yesterday and picked me up in her husbands bright green beatle i love beatles so she knew that alone would be a treat, we cruised along listening to the buzzcocks full blast....amzing, we ate a ton(as usual)and got a new tattoo

then my friend loco came over we drank wine and smoked pot and put the world to rights, my jaw hurts from laughing so much.

ive been stocking up on books, because ill be staying with my husbands mum in ballerat for at least a month, so i need a good book to loose myself in, i have the book thief, in cold blood, my friend leonard and the no 1 ladys detective agency.

i saw little miss sunshine the other day its amzing was crying my heart out, also the dark night....amazing!!!

right ive put it off long enough...i nned to pack and go to the dentist, then its my friends hen party tonight, fun times!
