I moved to Oregon from Louisiana 2 years ago, and I'd never go back. The summers are beautiful here, but you'll miss the sun for six months out of the year.
nice college town in the lovely, alive northwest climate....you'll love it....intellectuals and generally tolerant, accepting men and women of the progressive america! seattleites love to travel to oregon. you'll find me taking the train from seatttle. good luck, cara. xo zalt
My cousin and I stopped in there on a cross country road trip. Such a beautiful place, and really cool people. We had a blast there and were kinda bummed when we had to leave, but will definitely go back there one day. My cousin wants to move there and I want to move to seattle, which is just a short distance away.
Oh and make sure you hit Cheba Hut on 339 E. 11th Ave. Best subs ever. People are really nice and every sub was amazing.
Why Eugene of all places? =O It's not.. a BAD town.. but I wouldn't be specifically trying to move there if not for a scholarship or job or something like that.. which in Eugene I don't see happening lol
