Grey Scale

“A group of Suicide girls were able to call an artist’s loft in LA, “home” for a night and I was lucky enough to be one of them. When I arrived at the loft the sky was cold and grey. Milloux greeted me with a warm smile and showed me the way inside. Nervous and a little shaky I made my way in accompanied by a case of PBR and a backpack full of clothes. I sipped on my beer and was a creepy little cat watching some other girls strip and strut and arch for the camera. As my clothes came off, I felt my nerves subside, felt myself gaining confidence, I felt powerful and free, I felt golden and warm, incandescent and alive against the stark grey backdrop of the set. Later that night I crawled up to the roof to watch a multi shoot, sip more beer, and enjoy the super perigee moon over the skyline of the city. Later still we went to club suicide to dance with vampires and sirens and the other sensual, dark creatures of the night. When the night was over I climbed a small ladder up to bed and curled up next to Lorelei who was slumbering sweetly. The next morning rain fell on the skylights in grey pearls, their sound magnified, rhythmic, and soothing in their chaos. I lay next to Moxi in comfortable silence savoring the sound.”
