This weekend = THE AWESOME.

♠ SATURDAY: NEW APARTMENT!
I have the best friends. Hunter, ymonster, and akalucifer all helped me BUSTED ASS moving me into my new apartment. It took about 3 hours, and I had to drive the U-Haul a little, which fucking terrified me (I started hyperventilating AFTER I'd already driven into the parking lot, hahahah). They were all troopers and I freakin' adore them.

Saturday night involved rad Ethiopian food, a sweet limo ride, awesome bull rides, and birthdays round one with the sexy sassy vegemite and the herculean aka55.

♠  SUNDAY: NEW (work on my) TATTOO!
ymonster rocked out the background of my forearm, and we tied together both sections of color. Hooray! We haven't been able to work on it in months, so this made me a super-happy panda, despite having to move things around in my room with a dead arm. Haha.

♠ MONDAY: NEW JOB!
Today I had the opportunity to go interview at a tattoo shop in Brooklyn (completely spur of the moment), and I ended up getting a part time position as a counter girl for the weekends. I start this week, hooray!

Lots of changes in my life right now--things are crazy as per usual, BUT (thankfully!!) it's in a good way (for once).

This is the happiest I have been in a damn long while. I'll just ride this wave for as long as I can....

p.s. To those who commented on my last journal's song; it's called John Wayne Gacy Jr. and it's by Sufjan Stevens. It's my favorite song, and yes, it's creepy--but more than anything else, I think it's about how there are be worse things in life than straight violence, and that we should all re-examine our behavior toward one another as human beings (because chances are.... we're not as innocent as we'd like to believe).
