Everyday after work I come home and the first thing I do is water my garden, todayI came home to find all my plants cut down. Everything, my basil, my rosemary, my pumpkins, corn, onions, just everything. I know things can be replaced and this may seem slightly trial to some but I raised everything in my garden from a little seed and I really put a lot of love into my garden and now it's almost to late in the season to start new vegetables. I want to cry.
I am just fucking livid.

that's terrible ! gardners here do that automatically when fall starts to hit so that after it snows and melts, then in the spring you won't have a mess of dried up plants. i dunno if it snows where you are but ... (!?)

what the hell. i would be so upset. i find it so hard to look after plants, so when they survive and you look after them everyday and watch them grow and feed off them it is the most rewarding thing. Sorry someone wrecked that for you.

I get real attached to something I've put heart and soul to as well. I was so excited to get my new house with a porch that I ran and got potted flowers without much thought of how they'd do in this AZ summer heat. I watered those babies about 3 times a day everyday but they still just withered and died. There go my beautiful flowers that I've been taking care of and talking to and were so proud of... It's not trivial.
