But not for long.
I have one week to pack my apartment and then I'm on to the next location. It's been my dream for a while to leave California, and finally in a few days I will on my way to Louisiana. I am overwhelmed with excitement. A few days I ago I signed a lease on a beautiful little house with a yard and porch. I cannot wait to garden. I begin university at the end of August, I must be a huge nerd because taking the next step in my education is secretly the most exciting aspect of my move.
There are, however, always repercussion to change. I will miss my friends and family a lot.
I mentioned in a previous that I had begun writing for a local magazine; here are a couple samples.
Because I am moving to a remote area with no official photographer, I would like to start photographing girls in the area. If there are any girls in Louisiana who would like to shoot a set, hit me up, I have a professional camera and a fairly good eye for photography.
I've been experimenting with some new film and developing processes. Here are some recent photos:

moving into my new place was really exciting. I moved into an old stone farm house that houses four different apartments. It's pretty bad ass. I now have a yard. I've lived there since this past October so when spring was rolling around I cut up the sod and built a raised bed and filled it with the best compost/dirt money could buy (since I don't have room, nor did I have the time, to make compost of my own) now I have this epic little vegetable garden that is starting to produce. Right now, I'm mostly getting Eggplant, Cucumbers and Green Beans... but my hot peppers, sweet peppers and tomatoes are coming along nicely. I can't wait to make pickles and can my extra tomatoes for the winter.
That makes me feel like a nerd. 
There are fig trees and raspberry bushes in the yard as well that were there when I moved in. I got some fruit pectin at the store and I plan on making jelly.
