So my week has been fairly interesting.

Started my new job working at a gym. Which me..in a gym..thats a joke. But its easy money and I can read there. I started getting sick when I returned to Albany from RI on Tuesday turns out if you let a sinus infection go to long you wind up in the ER..so that was my Friday night. I've been in bed for ohhh 3 days now. Had to return to the ER today because I was still knocking on death's door. After many hours there, I finally feel better than I did. The sucky part is I've had to call out of work twice this weekend and may have to again tomorrow..hopefully not!

When I finally get better (hopefully in the next two days, doc says 7-10 days) I return to RI on Wednesday for tons of excitement. All of you in the New England area should come on out to Club Hell for Fetish Night, it'll be my last for a while as school starts the 28th. frown Then going to see Better Than Ezra in Boston with my best and shopping with Poppy for Suicide Saturday! Can't believe the show is coming up so so soon. I feel so unprepared, I mean, I'm prepared, but not as much as I would like to be and this getting horribly sick business is really setting me back. I'm sure once I get home I get all my affairs in order.

Not too much else exciting going on in Albany. Finally got a chance to go out swing dancing last week. Seems like theres a good group of people here. Pretty psyched to go again when I get better. Got my first tattoo a few weeks ago with my best friend, Elle. We got our zodiac signs on the back of our necks. Super cute. zoom image

That's all for now. Hope to see you all out at Suicide Saturday!!

So, I just moved into my new house in Albany last night! I must say, as much as I absolutely do miss Rhode Island (mainly a few special people) this place is quite fabulous. The house is SO me. My roommates have already been hitting up the paint store and just painting random patches of the house different colors. They even painted my name on the wall outside my door! And my best friend (who lives in my room currently) wrote a big "Welcome to Albany!" sign on my wall.

My room is pretty much a blank canvas and I have loads of plans on how to decorate it and such. Seeing as though we have no internet connection or cable television I feel I'll have alot of extra time on my hands before school starts.

In other news, I get to go home this weekend (yes, I know I just got here) to see Monty Are I on Saturday night. Also while I'm home for that 2/3 days I'm hopefully getting my first tattoo done and another couple piercings! Yay!

Until then and for the next 2 or so weeks I will be hopefully finding a new job, reviewing some French (yay for summer time studying), and lots of painting! I'm going tomorrow to get my camera fixed (thank god!) so I will hopefully be posting lots of new pictures soon of me, my new house, new tattoos, and friends! That's all for now!

This is the sound of settling..

Can't I just hurry up and move to Albany already? Or rather, have Suicide Saturday be today so I can do that and move tomorrow? Anyhow, I'm all full of lyrics lately.

So, I woke up this morning to the sound of my mother outside power washing our house. The start of a great day I'm sure. The end of a long week I hope. There was nothing particularly bad about my week, just nothing really went good. I got to see Tricia alot this week and Corrinne as well, and both those things were really great. I got to go dancing Tuesday night and Wednesday night = fabulous things as well. It was more the inbetweens that weren't as good.

Truth be told, this summer has had so much potential to be amazing, yet its not only passing me by quickly, but it's just not that great. Who knows, Jimmy comes home from the Navy this week, so that might brighten up a few days. I really ready to go to Albany and submerge myself in work and schoolbooks for the next 6 months.

I suppose I'm long overdue for an update, hm?!

Hope everyone's 4th of July week was good and eventful. Mine was too shabby. I worked a majority of the week, but out in time to see the fireworks in Providence! So beautiful. Then ended up going dancing with a really old military buddy of mine while he was visiting. The actual 4th of July was really uneventful, stayed in bed a large portion of the day then hung out with a couple friends and went to dinner. Wednesday was fun, worked and ended up at Hell with Tricia again. Oh my do I love that little lady. Things were going great til Saturday when I decided NOT to show up at work and instead go to the park with my best friend who was visiting from Albany. (Smart thinking..) and not to show up AGAIN on Sunday because I was scheduled RIGHT during the World Cup. So I'm thinking that I'm not employed anymore. Oh well.

I have a lot lot lot coming up in the next few weeks!! This week coming up one of my best best best friends is finally returning home from the Navy!! So big party for him. Then I'm going again to Albany to go swing dancing and to attend a fairly large party being held at my new house there. Also, Brandnew is coming up the 25th ::crosses fingers that I can find tickets:: Then Adam's 21st birthday is the following week, and then I'm going back to Albany for orientation!

Lastly, anyone watch the World Cup? Anyone watch it and shake their fist at the tv? So terrible. As angry as I am at Zidane for that random burst of anger, fuck Marco Materazzi for whatever he did to piss Zidane off like that. And those refs were completely bogus!! The calls they made...::puts hands in head::..anyhow. Tiny rant about that.

Until next time.

Hello all,

Been a little while since I've updated. Not a whole lot new in the world of me. Started my new job, which I absolutely love (with the small exception of having to wear 3 inch heels and get hardly any hours). Still pppatiently waiting for me set to queue. Hopefully soon! Going to Albany this week, to visit some friends and do some swing dancing. Still really wanting to go to LA in the weeks to come, but I haven't the funds to do some unfortunately.

Nothing too much else new going on, other than the new episode of Entourage tonight (excellent btw). S'been really beautiful out lately, doing my best to catch some sun and relax this weekend. Had to remove my double nostril studs for this new job. Suckage, major. Some lame boy has got me watching World Cup soccer lately. Go team!

Anyhow, done with my rambling and off to bed. Will be posting pictures shortly, but my camera is currently under construction.

xoxo Cadence

Oh and p.s. Check out Lorelei's new set. IT IS INCREDIBLE!

Anyone notice that the car Lloyd drives in the last two episodes of Entourage: Season 2 is the same car as in the previews of Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (lame movie!) making the joke Ari made even funnier!

Okay, big time dork seriously. If anyone else caught that, then, yeah, you're awesome like me. wink

Well, well, my first journal entry! Poppy tells me I should get to it. Anyhow, nothing too interesting to report.

Just moved back to RI from Az. It's nice to be home. The past few weeks have been really lazy weeks.

Today has been full of lots of Entourage (thanks to on demand and that show for being damn addictive). Currently baking cookies. That's really it for me. Landed myself a job selling overpriced, cheaply sewn, but pretty handbags at Coach. That should be exciting.

Well folks, thats all the news thats fit to print right now. Stay tuned for my set, it should be up shortly! I'll leave you with a few fairly recent pics of me!

Me on Sunset Blvd!

I kiss my best friend sometimes.
