After a really long weekend of getting no sleep-
I have finally taken my first step to my dream PhD. I'm excited about it- but also feeling like the 4 million years of schooling I will be taking place in is a bit daunting. That much school being said I moved a Keurig to the top of my WishList because caffeine will undoubtedly be my best friend through all of this.
It's strange to have so many life changing things falling into place for me.
All of which started two hours after this picture was taken-

I'm in the middle of getting a site up with some portfolio style work and contact information and all that jazz- but on top of all that I'm putting up some quotes from people throughout the years that I've worked with as a model, make-up artist, or general brainstorming.
If you've ever left me a testimonial you don't mind me using as a quote for the sake of having some bizarre ones thrown into all the professional stuff, please let me know. I like to keep things silly.

I'm learning to take time to let life happen.
I'm excited about my hot yoga class this afternoon, and I'm slowly working through the desire to knock my ex over the head with a brick.
All those things are good.
Looking at new houses to move into soon- and planning some shoots in February! I don't know that anything will be work for SG exactly, but I'll share what we get up to either way.
What's your favorite way to deal with life stresses?

Happy New Year, my loves!
2011 went out with a bang, and I'm ready for another interesting year of my life to unfold. My best friend's birthday is also on NYE so we always double time the celebration.
The place we rang in the new year had the biggest fail on mirror placement ever. I couldn't see my face at all.
However, when you are around the ones you love- you don't care what faces you're making anyway... and tons of pictures seemed to prove that to me this morning- starting with sticking out my tongue for no reason at all...
I had a really great year- all the ups and all the downs included.
I thank all of the people from SG that put a smile on my face- The Christmas season would've been totally different without you.
Lots of work, and projects, and lovely people to experience life with in 2012.
But for now I'm drinking some coffee and watching "How it's Made: Wax Figures" and feeling impressed and creeped out equally.
