what the bloody hell?! i honestly cannot believe a group of human beings that are, supposedly, "grown ups" could let such vile and disgusting things escape their lips, especially with such outright malice. i think the worst part of all is the fact they were so brazen as to CALL your friend and say such filth in such a callous manner.

It is repulsive that people can be so cruel. StCyr has it right, the internet is bringing out the worst in people and intensifies it. Crap like this is what makes me avoid, distrust, and in general shy away from people in the first place. Sadly there's probably not much that can be done that won't intensify the malicious actions aside from doing all she can to remove those "useless waste of skin" out of her life.

It's so sad that there are so many people that feel they have to put someone else down to make themselves feel worth something, but they'll never be happy with who they are, how they look or have true friends in their life.

Everyone is beautiful in their own way and it irratates me too to see people go out of their way to try and bring someone down. It pisses me off for people to be cruel over the internet yet someone will try and say they are really nice in real life. Bull, if you were truely a good person you wouln't say crap like that over the internet. People like that should grow up. I can't bring myself to read the SG facebook comments due to people like that. It sucks when you are being bullied by someone who doesn't find you attractive, but living a life better than they obviously have and being surrounded by caring friends like yourself is the best thing. I'm a firm believer that if you are a cruel person like that, the worst things will happen to you as karma.

might I suggest calling the police. If I was repeatedly harassed, I would definitely go to the police saying that I was feeling threatened.

Aggravated Harassment -- which this surely is, is "only" a misdemeanor - the first time: but if the person repeats their abuse, the second time (in our state) is a *mandatory* year in the pen. that puts some real teeth into the first complaint. The state police are generally more helpful than local cops (I speak from experience); I helped a person file complaints and the perpetrators were in fact brought before a grand jury. The case was ultimately dismissed for various reasons, but they certainly got a look at the seriousness of their own behavior. The harassment stopped, and the lead person eventually left the town, such was the backlash.
