lesseeee...last night was the Scroobius Pip vs. Dan le Sac gig. fooookin killer. I had so much fun, and Mr Scroob was so lovely. really friendly and up for a chat (overexcited students with cameras allowing..hehe)

I was meant to be hooking up with a few people tonight for the minimeet, but I'm all ickky and have some stomach flu thing..it's been going around..and I can't stop being sick

I'm excited about Amsterdam. And staying with Anthea and *hopefully* Nena and DiazArri too yay!!

I'm choosing to be single for a while, spend time with my friends, and concentrate on my career a little.. but it's not making some people very happy what can you do eh?

On Saturday I had my tongue pierced. I've heard "I always assumed you had it done already" at least 15 times since. Unfortunately (for me), due to the 22mm of nickel-free surgical grade steel in my mouth, I can barely lisp a response...
It hurts. Like a motherfucker. It aches. My teeth ache. I'm hungry. (As I type, I'm carefully placing pieces of digestive biscuit into the side of my mouth. Not. Working.)

On Saturday evening I went to a barbeque (a little cold and dark perhaps) with my lovely manfriend SimplePsy It took me a whopping 15 minutes to tentatively eat a roasted vegetable skewer.
I've been nursing my general feeling of being run down today at work by downing as many ibuprofen and paracetamol-based drugs as I can find. Then spent the afternoon asleep in the piercing studio chair. It's basically a dentist's chair given a loving injection of style with purple and red vinyl. I'm a little concerned at how rested I felt. Of course it might've just been the fact I'd overdosed slightly on over-the-counter drugs. Haha.. I also vegged out at home and watched movies, which I so rarely do. Grease (LOVE that film!!) and The Devil Wears Prada. I never watch movies like that, but felt a little light entertainment was needed... (oozy post-painkiller head doesn't allow for much thinking)

Today's most exciting event was waiting for Police to haul two junkies out of the public toilets opposite our shop. So one guy stumbles out (with a can of Stella under his arm..and arms full of heroin paraphernalia ..classy!) Then out stumbles his girlfriend. His pregnant girlfriend. Dirty fucking scum. Some people should've been blowjobs. Never should've been conceived. Never ever ever.

My little sister (just turned 20) moved to Turkey on Saturday. She gets married June 23rd. We've always fought like..something which fights a lot - but I miss her so much..

No more news that I can think of..
Oh. Apart from the fact my 'W' key is sticking. As if I didn't have enough fucking problems.

I'm moving house..or more correctly I'm moving out of my parent's place (yay) and in with my wonderful bestest buddy Paul and his lovely flatmate Charlie. This is a good. 3 minutes walk from the beach, and in the same town as where the piercing studio I work at is..not to mention where all the bars & pubs I go to are. I'll be living a mere stone's throw (if you throw it hard) from Anarchie. yippeeee!!!

Life is rather wonderful. My so-sweet-it-gives-you-toothache-in-a-good-way friend Si has joined (finally!) so be lovely and go say hello. I promise he's really rather fantastic (if not faceless at the moment. sort it out dude!)

I've woken up with a throbbing finger. it's all fat and really tender - like I have a splinter which has got infected..I don't know why though. It's so sore!
Yesterday was my little sister's 20th birthday. We spent the day shopping for bridesmaid dresses for me, which wasn't so bad.
This is the one I fell in love with - a kinda subtle leopard print, in a gorgeous 50's-esque shift shape. And it fitted beautifully. and it wasn't too expensive, which means I can get shoes too.

My sister talks obsessively about Turkey (she's moving there cuz her fiancee's Turkish) and weddings, cuz she's getting married June 23rd. After a day of this, we went for dinner with my ma & stepdad and the wedding talk continued. They started talking about the things they'd be paying for and giving my sister and my stepbrother (who announced he's marrying his girlfriend next year). They then turned to me and said 'Well if you could find anyone who wanted you, you'd get them same'. I doubt it was meant to come out quite like that, but that finished me off.
After having spent the day feeling very single, I picked up my stuff and left the restaurant, and came home on my own.. oh well..

It's weird to think my baby sister (even though she's 20 now) will be living so far away. Ok, it's not a million miles, but I hate flying and it's far enough. I'll miss her so much..

it still stands: could all the Rockabilly/Psychobilly guys please makes themselves known.. I want one.

I'm hungry. I shall go scavenge the cupboards for something dead exciting like porridge. teeheehee

I'm booked in to be drilled (oh ho ho read: tattooed) next Friday 11th, just for an hour to drop the lines in on my left forearm..plus an hour is all I can really afford this week. but yay! Haven't been tattooed since.. I had my anchors on my leggies done in January.

Last night me and my gal Anarchie went to see The Wildhearts and I was verrrrry happy. I love the Wildhearts. And have since I was about 15. But never saw them. alas, I am a hermit. They were supported by an Icelandic band called Sign who had a hot singer. by 'hot' I mean he looked about 17, and I would've crushed on him 100% when I was 17. Infact, i'm 23 and still crushing. ahem... I digress. The Wildhearts..yeah. new bassist (ok he's taken Danny McCormack's place and we all know how I love Danny Mac, but sweet jesus). Anarchie reckons he was checking me out. He wasn't. He has a crazy-beautiful pregnant (or recently given birth) mamma at home, and I am but a mere mortal. Doesn't mean I didn't drool over him all night, of course

I am superhappy cuz I have a cute new Wildhearts tee which I shall proudly be sporting at all times. so there.
I also bought some sweet new sneakers. Vince Ray ones. thus:

Then...this morning we went for brunch (cuz we're classy whores) in a chocolatiers. And had teas and smoothies and scrambled egg. and cake. yes. we had cake. of course we had cake. teeheee

Um...then I went to my friends house and watched Phantasm. which is really quite shite and not gory enough. Last week we watched Bubba Ho-Tep which was amazing. He didn't cut it this week, oh no. hahaha.. Elvis and Mummies. What more do you need?


SO yeah. I've been shopping.
Everything else in my life is peachy, I've been busy busy busy so I'm not on here as much as I'd like to be..apologies

Good things: Feeling better than I did. Wrote his new girl a nice email telling her to look after him and wishing them well. More for my own peace of mind than anything else.

Realised I have some very very wonderful friends - on here and in erm..'real life'. I'm so thankful for that.

The sun is out and I'm not working til 5pm. Gonna go road test my new teeny tiny dark denim shortshorts.

Cute boys appear when you least expect to see any. But staying single until I can get really 100% about someone is looking like a more and more comfortable option for now. I'm settling into it ok

Someone sweet is coming to visit me in about 2 weeks. I'm excited.

Hopefully I can get some new ink soon. Not looking forward to it so much as it's on the insides of my wrists. At least, I think I'm doing those ones first..

2 awesome guys we had in on it: 1: Ray Gange - he played Rudeboy in the Clash 1980-something movie 'RudeBoy'. He was such a sweetheart, so down to earth and really easy to work with. We had lots of fun

The shoot was tiring but fun.. I'm too exhausted to write anything properly about it right now. I wandered round Camden, Portabello Market and various other bits of London for 3 days. I arrived home this afternoon, and worked this evening. I'm a busy bumblebee.

Whilst in Camden, I popped in to see the darling Elf, who looked entirely non-plussed about her shop being full of tourists and the whole place being completely rammed with people, being Easter weekend.. She looks every bit as beautiful as I've come to expect from her, even at work. dammit.


ahhhh the 'hot date' on Monday.. yeah..there was no 'click' The all important click was missing, and I'm not in the slightest bit fussed. If it was meant to be, it would be.
erm..the guy who kinda likes me and comes into my pub all the time..yeah he walked me home this evening. And kissed me. and I kissed him back. I really like him. and I know he won't fuck me around. There are a few things I'm still unsure of, but I'm confident they'll be resolved. Won't say too much, early days etc etc.
As a side note, I've never been kissed so nice in my entire life


I bet I've forgotten things, but that's all I have the energy for right now.
