My new set Beyond the Sea premiers in Member Review tomorrow at 7pm!

And, in the mean time, here's some related hilarity:
There's this one photographer who always says, "do something different with your face." So, I did...

Valentine's Day is coming up...I've been getting in the mood.
L.O.V.E.

I dressed up as Irene Adler from Sherlock today:

And, I found some wonderful Sherlock Valentine's cards here.

Let's have dinner.
I also got a wonderful Valentine's Day surprise from my wishlist in the mail the other day:

And, I found some wonderful Valentine's cards online:

And, I'm really hoping that when the 14th rolls around, something epically cute like this happens:

MICKEY MOUSE EARS!!! (I still seriously want a par with my name on 'em.)

But, all that lovey-dovey stuff isn't the only thing on my mind...

Oh, and remember my set "Beyond the Sea" hits member review on the 12th. So, you can prep for V-Day on B-O-B-Day:

And, here's some random hilarity:

I saw this on tumblr the other day and I seriously cannot...stop...laughing.

I've uploaded some of the pictures with a bit of my Star Wars goodies from my Girls of Geek calendar shoot:

I was also at Macworld the past couple of days...I was helping out the awesome Mimoco crew. The coolest thing was the shirt I got to wear:

They also announced these uber-geektastic new microSD readers that aren't available to the public, but we had a couple for sale at the show...

Of course, I got the Millennium Falcon.
When they do come out in March, I highly recommend them. Because you can switch out the cards, they become flash drives you can upgrade the memory for. Plus, they look really cool.
They also had a mini oxygen bar at the convention...I've never tried something like that, but I was always curious. So, I tried it...

It's just awkward air.
Plus, the guy who was running it was making really obscene comments to the girl sitting next to me because there was a "sex on the beach" flavor. I tried "timber" and avoided the nasty comments.
In other awesome news...I'm getting a puppy today!!! Her name is Radar, after Radar O'Reilly from M.A.S.H. (my favourite television show).

She looks just like his teddy bear!

But, don't worry, he first thing I'm gonna do is take that awful bow out of her hair.

My new set, Beyond the Sea, has been moved up in the member review queue!
So, mark your calendars for February 12 at 7pm.

Big things are on the horizon...

I'll be at the Mimobot booth for MacWorld. So, if you're going to be at the convention, be sure to stop by and say hi.
And, I'm in talks for something really cool that I can't say too much about now...except it's going to be exceedingly epic and exceedingly geeky!
So, stay tuned for some really fun stuff in the coming weeks!
There's also been some really fin Bob-related stuff in the news:
NECA did a post about my GoW set!!! SO cool!

Some other SG's and I are in Yell Magazine.
And, this blog totally made my day! Retronator seriously knows how to make a girl's day with some seriously sweet compliments!
In other news, the SOPA blackout is tomorrow. If you would like to join the strike, check this out.

Sherlock's over, but I'm still reliving the magic my playing this over-and-over:
It's like Moffat & Gatiss said, "yo gawg, we heard you like Nina Simone...so we put Nina in your Sherlock so you can swoon while you swoon."
And, as always, here's some random hilarity:

Ever notice how Nathan Drake always has to touch everything he gets close to? What happens when he goes to the strip club?

I tried out for my school's mock trial team...
...and thought I did a horrible job. I was madly nervous (and exhibiting all the signs that typically go along with that.) But, on the plus side, my hair looked nice...

I was channeling L.A. Noire and Elizabeth Short.
I went home defeated and sad; thinking I had absolutely embarrassed myself during my presentation. It was even so bad that I woke up at 3:00AM the next morning because I couldn't sleep. I kept having a dream that would replay my try-out presentation in my head and I was feeling so embarrassed I forced myself to wake up.
So, I went online at 3AM and checked my email. I only had one in my inbox and it was titled, "Congratulations."
I got on the team.
So...now we know two things:
1. I'm good at mock trial.
2. I'm crazy.
The next day I got together with some of the local ladies of SG for our second-annual Board game brunch and had a blast.
Buellher brought DIY robots...here's mine:

I also bought a couple comics...Apparently, splitting the matrix of leadership means I have to buy more than one copy.

Also, remember when I said I had pics from xmass holiday to develop...well Snapfish totally ruined them. For some unknown reason the negatives had random hole punches in them that were taped over and, to add insult to injury, there's fingerprints and scratches all over them.
So, I'm gonna try to develop my own (or, I've been watching too much Breaking Bad)

Here's my first attempt:

But, I did have a couple from my trip home:

I've got a couple of awesome sets in MR:
My latest set, Come Go With Me is the most commented set of the past 6 months. It's also the 13th most commented MR set of all-time.

Speaking of all-time...I also have the most commented MR set of all-time, The Assistant.

But, I'm adding to MR!!! So, mark your calendars for March 8th at 9AM (Pacific time) for my new set: Beyond the Sea.

I'm back at school...

It's been an awkward struggle getting used to being around people after a pleasant month away. They talk about things I don't understand like sports and "going out."
But, my coffee's been trying to make me feel better (it did this on it's own)

It was really fun to see friends I hadn't seen since classes ended last semester. One of my friends was visiting family in China and brought me tea. But, she didn't say what kind...so it was mystery tea!

But, the internets were kind enough to tell me it's mo li hua cha (jasmine tea). I tried to use Google Goggles to figure it out...but H1N1 came up. I'm not sure what that says about either the tea or Google Goggles, but it says something.
I'm also really enjoying getting all my school supplies together. If there's one thing I really love it's office supplies.

And, etchasketch totally made my day when he sent me this:

How frackin' cool is that?
It's one step closer to this:

And, Retronator surprised me with this from my Gears of War set the next day:

I seriously love fan art. You guys and your amazing talent RULE. RULE!!!
Also, I'm pretty sure there is no way to make a vegan version of this...but this really should be a thing in the states:

I'm just sayin'
And, here's some unrelated hilarity:

My sleeve is officially done!
Here's a pic of Freddy finishing it up:

And, here it is unwrapped:

I'll post more pics of it tomorrow. Stay tuned!

Sherlock is back on and I am utterly in love/obsessed. (Not that I wasn't already.)
I'm also super excited for the next episode which is Hounds of Baskerville (my favourite Sherlock story).
I found an awesome blog that lists almost everything used in the series and where to get them. Which is both amazing and infuriating because there are things I want that are well out of my ability to afford anything on my student budget of 0 dollars a month.
How fabulous is Irene Adler's wallpaper:

And, wouldn't this make a wonderful cosplay?

No sheet Sherlock!

And, speaking of Moffat shows...this happened:
I got a Revoltech WAL-E in the mail last night...I love how intricately poseable their figures are.

I do love a good documentary and I've found a couple good ones lately. Like, BBC One’s Earthflight (Yes, that's David Tennant's Scottish brogue.)
Oh...

There, that's better:

I was feeling particularly girlie yesterday which is what prompted that pic. It also prompted the eating of dessert first:

Some vegan treats from Vegansaurus at The Source.
And, I'm getting work done on my sleeve this weekend...it's probably going to be finished. So, stay tuned for that!
