Sooo...midterms are done. Now, I've got a 15-page paper, 10-page paper, and an 8-page paper... 
But, I've been trying to take a bit of relaxing time off...

I bought myself a new bra...But, I had to ask the internet for advice before I did it 'cause I know nothing about these things:

Well, based on your responses I decided to write an article. You can read it all on Charisma +2 Magazine.
I recently made a video about the evolution in the argument against "girl gamers." And, while a large part of it is done in jest, there is a serious undercurrent. Over the years, women have really had to struggle...just to play a game.
Really, I feel like I'm the last person who should be commenting on such a feminist topic and the first person to talk about breast physics...but, when even a boob (pun intended) like me notices, it's worth talking about.
Originally, it was...
"Girls don't play video games."
"I can't believe there are girl gamers out there."
"Get out of here, you're a girl."
Now, the argument has evolved. Women in gaming is becoming more and more commonplace and the push-back has advanced from "you don't exist" or "your gender renders you unable to game," to "the games you play must be, somehow, 'stupid.'"

A group of friends and I have been playing Descent and really enjoying it. Tomorrow night is the finale of our campaign. So, I thought it would be fun to record the story to make it a little fun. And, then I figured I should share it with others who have the game too (or who are thinking about getting it).

The host was John Oliver and he was HILARIOUS!

I also learned that Mark Zuckerberg is really, really short. And, that my phone auto corrects his name to "Sucker berg."
And, I'm bummed that Square didn't win.
Now, I'm getting ready for WilWheaton's Wootstock tonight. It's a special Founder's Night. So, if you're in SF you should make it a point to come and geek out!
