It's Breast Cancer Awareness Month:

I'm pretty sure we're all aware of breasts in this community. So, I'm hopefully preaching to the choir when it comes to cancer awareness. But, just in case, hug a survivor and do what you can to help those fighting.

Also, I'm Examiner.com's Suicide Girls gamer of the week. You can check out the interview here.

In other news...I recently spent a day in LA. Yup, a day. Up at 2 flying in at 8 leaving at 10 and back home by 12 (which really ended up being 1:30).

First, I went to Universal Studios:

The Transformers ride was pretty good, but Evac (the robot created for the ride) is clearly in car mode, but at one point he reaches out his hand to grab something...I believe I yelled out, "what the heck" while everyone else was going, "AHHHHHHHHHH!"

Then, I went to a house on Skyline Drive to watch a former SG member get married:

And, while I was there, I got to meet THE Earthworm Jim!!!

And, here's some random hilarity:

I got this one from WilWheaton and I totally want to do this to my refrigerator:

We all heart boobies, and I fully despise any threat to them or the ladies they belong to! smile So the Awareness idea is great, of course. So many things seem to cause cancer these days, at a cursory glance via Google, etc.
Well, hope all else is well, and always look forward to your blogs, and your closing pics. They are always pure hilarity, and you've got one helluva a sense of humour wink ( I'm guilty of stealing one or two once in a while so others can enjoy them too confusedsmile )

Our dear friend and castmate Jonelle Snead passed away from that very disease shortly after completing her role in our homegrown production THE WOODEN GATE, which we will be re-running at the MANOR in two weeks. I thank and commend you for your attention to this most important observation.

I spent 4 years looking after a GF with breast cancer... through operations, chemo, radiotherapy, hormone treatment, herceptin and tamoxifen.
Get checked... get regular mammograms..
Find a lump? Tell your doctor STRAIGHT away and get a biopsy.
Get support, tell your family, and look after yourself. Be well, and care for each other.
