I'm super excited. I just finished my first presentation and I was the only one in the class who didn't get critiqued about my speech...and I got to work both Iron Man and Superman into it. biggrin

My teacher played this for us and I thought it was just hilarious:

So, yay for school being exciting this semester. smile I'm having a lot of fun. I don't hate any of my professors and no one has threatened to hit me. (Unlike last semester.) tongue

In other news...this weekend is going to be filled with tons of fun!

I'm shooting for the Girls of Geek calendar this weekend. It's going to be wampa-tastic and Boba-licious...just to give you an idea of what I'll be shooting in. wink I think you guys will be proud. (And, by proud, I mean aroused.)

Also, I've got a big surprise for you this weekend!!! Be sure to login and check it out!
Just to give you a hint...

I'm sure you've all seen the Back to the Future Mag shoes...now, all we need is $37,500 and we can have a pair too.

Don't get me wrong. I'm all for charity and I'm excited that the Michael J Fox Foundation is getting some much-needed money for Parkinson's research. But, the geek in me is dying to be so close to something so awesome...yet so far away they might as well have never made them.

I guess I'll just have to go back to oogling the diy version:

Taylor Mali inspired me to teach. I highly recommend - The Impotence of Proofreading and What A Teacher Makes.

Like I need another reason to be here this weekend.

Congratulations on liking your professors, not getting threatened with being hit and incorporating Iron Man and Superman into a presentation.

I'd call that Nerdvana, And if I had that kind of disposable income, those shoes would so be yours.

those shoes were under five grand when I checked this morning. Do they tie themselves like in the movie?

Also, is it me or does Red Letter Media become more accurate when discussing George Lucas as he rereleases Star Wars each time.

Congrats on the presentation and implementing Iron Man and Superman into the mix smile I was able to get HYDRA and Captain America into a presentation last semester and kept a kid with ADHD entranced for 45 min ;0 Looking forward to those surprises!
