WOOT! I got my Bioshock 2 Collector's Edition in the mail...

I figured I would show you the unboxing because it it 5 levels of box fun.

Yup, you heard me right...5 boxes!

Which is surprising for Amazon considering their recent campaign against rediculous packaging.

It all started with one really giant box:

And, inside that box was another box:

The Bioshock box was inside...here's the sleeve:

And, here's the main CE box:

I'm not going to lie...it's all kinds of soft and silky feeling.

I stroked it a little.

Finally, the game box...and all of the extra goodies.

I can't wait to play the game. But, for now, I'm going to go back to groping the box...

If only my unboxing could be THIS good. (Trust me, it's worth waiting for the end.)

Went to the midnight release here and played it for 3 hours last night. FRAKKIN' AWESOME! I will say though the start isn't as epic as Bioshock 1 but your first little skirmish with the Big Sister and your first walk outside Rapture really hit all the right notes.

That's a lot of boxes. It reminds me of when I bought a drawing tablet. It was a 12x9 tablet I think, so the manufactures box was of course something like 14x12. The box that it was shipped to me in was oh....big enough for me to crawl into. Literally. I have a video of me crawling out. Gavin used it as a base of operations for the longest time...
