I'm back!! Miguel drove the entire way home because I was WAY out of commission. Spent the last couple of days at Summerlake hotsprings which was beautiful like always. I got myself way too drunk on Tequila and was in poor form for the last night...sorry everyone! We now all have new nicknames for each other now: Miguel is Dirt, named after a crazy night on the playa where we lost each other when he took a dirt nap in the middle of all of us dancing. Mine is Stick, named after my crazy tequila outburst, the end result was a tangly head of sticks and hair. And Jo's is Srumptious Scoop and I just won't go there...

oierutoerboit wb45=6 [p!@!~!!!!! Holy moly. biggrin

Burning Man was beautiful. Shot a new set....it's really nice smile

Oh, and I got my SG playing cards in the mail when I got home. Thanks SG! It's really cool being the 8 of diamonds!! kiss

xoxo Blyss

ps I am going to begin compiling questions for a Q and A video that I will be doing. If you have anything you would like to ask me, fire away!

Imagine this...I am typing this sitting in center camp at Burning Man! The man already burned last night, some jerk lit it on fire and now the crew is re-building it as we speak. Crazy. And now a nice guy just handed me his computer while a wonderful girl is puting a pretty hair tye in my hair. I love it here.

This is the last that you will hear from me til I get home! smile

The second set from my time on the Grand Canyon was rejected. I'm I guess a little sad about it but I have to admit that the pictures are mostly just beautiful and maybe not set material...They have somehow become out of order and could stand to be edited down a bit maybe... but you'll figure it out. The location is ultimately beautiful and breathtaking. Click here!

Staff is still reconsidering hopeful sets that have received favorable feedback. If you would like to see it live please leave a comment in the box after viewing the set.

We just finally rolled back into Seattle in the past hour. It was an amazing trip, if you didn't get a chance to read the highlights, they are in the journal last. The border control searched in our van and under on the way back, knocking all around for hidden compartments! They didn't find our stash!!! Kidding smile

I'm going to go and clean up around my house now...kind of a bummer to come home to fruit flies in the kitchen, a semi wilted garden and cat barf on the carpet. It's hard to leave your house in the hands of somebody else. So.....I'm going to go drink some tea with Jo and then tackle this house and try not to be too bummed that they rejected another set of mine.

I'll be quickly and easily distracted with Burning Man plans. We have only 9 DAYS til we leave for the playa!! There is so much to do, I am going to be busy non-stop til I leave.

Just in case you missed it...I'm the 8 of Diamonds on the new Rion Vernon illustrated SG playing cards deck!

I am in Nakusp, BC road tripping across Canada after an amazing Shambhala experience. Hit Ainsworth hotsprings on the way out and just spent the last night in Nakusp at the Halfway hotsprings which are amazingly gorgeous! I have been in hotspring heaven.... smile

Shambhala was INCREDIBLE. Imagine a festival where all at once you could be chilling out on the banks of a river then 100 ft away dancing to incredible bass and dub in a crazy ewok type village with tree houses and such! ;laksjdgpoiueropufeworu!!!

Let me tell ya, the border crossing was hell. We went up 21 and they wouldn't let us in because Jo didn't have her exit ticket with her back to England. So they re-routed us to the 97 border crossing where our van died AT THE WINDOW and we had to push it accross the border line into the stall so that they could search our vehicle! It was hilarious and so surreal! Somehow we got lucky and after a bit of interrogation and searching of the rig, they let us go and luckily Miguel was able to fix up the van.

Oh man, the hotsprings where we spent the night last night was SO beautiful. It was a non-commercial site called Halfway Hotsprings in Nakusp, BC. We had to drive 11km down a bumpy gravel road to a clearing where we set up our tents. Then we had to walk down a very steep and long 'trail', though it was hardly a trail. Kinda scary at times because it was so damn steep and because I was wearing flip flops and becuase we kept losing the trail. When we got to the bottom there were many pools of hot scalding water to tepid temperatures that were easy to adjust to make the perfect heat. Ah, it's good to be naked smile And gorgeous and all on the banks of a beautiful river surrounded by large rounded bleached stones and trees as far as your eyes could see. Sunny and wonderful! The night before we went to a place called Ainsworth hotsprings which was nice but commercial. Was very cool though because it had a maze of underground caves filled with the hot spring water that you could walk/swim through.

Ah! Now we're heading home, roadtripping across Canada and then down into Vancouver. It's an amazingly beautiful drive and we have seen tons of deer, a moose, a bear and an owl smile

My turn to drive... had to stop here in Nakusp to email my daughter at her sleep away soccer camp. Since when were you able to email your kids at camp!!? Not like when we were little and there was mail call huh!

Life is amazing and I love it! SO many pictures to come smile

Did you know, less than 650 mountain gorillas currently exist and that recently, mountain gorillas have also become the victims of neighboring human warfare? That breaks my heart. frown Read about it and DO SOMETHING!!!!!! Please help if you can.

Canyon

I was hoping this set would be accepted but it wasn't due to the photo quality. After SG photoshoppers brought it up to specs and lightened it up a bit it became apparent that the pic qualitiy wasn't up to usual standards. Too bad! This was shot in the Grand Canyon and I believe the shutter speed may have been too high...or the film speed...anyway, it was such a gorgeous location and a beautiful canyon.

I uploaded it to the Hopeful's section in hopes that maybe it will get enough good feedback to get a second chance. You never know smile Follow the link above to see it and to leave some love in the comments there.
