BITTEN SAYS: “Shot in Joshua Tree, California by Lorelei Suicide Joshua tree's name was was given by a group of Mormon settlers who crossed the Mojave Desert in the mid-19th century. The tree's unique shape reminded them of a Biblical story in which Joshua reaches his hands up to the sky in prayer. Sagebrush: any of several sagelike, bushy composite plants of the genus Artemisia, esp. A. tridentata, having silvery, wedge-shaped leaves, with three teeth at the tip, common on the dry plains of the western U.S. ”
