Back on the East Coast, busy getting ready for my next three month tour with Pretty Things Peepshow, we leave late next week! I just added a bunch more photos to the website, click on the pic below to see them all!

My website is finally back up, oh my god I'm so relieved. It's been down since Apr 19, I've been having small heart attacks daily trying to get it back up. So mad at my domain name provider. Anyways, go to Bettina.ca to check out all the cool things I've been working on!
Here's a little rundown though:

Right now I am counting the days till I can escape my visit with my parents, who still treat me like a child, as I'm sure they will till the day they die. Two more sleeps, then down to Seattle to have fun with my sister and my Seattle friends, yippee!

Wow, so stoked that so many ladies came out to my class in Victoria!! It was a full class, and lots of pretty ladies! Can't wait to update my website with my favourite student pics from the last year. The local paper did a story on the class, click here to read the article!

It's been over 2 years since I last brought my Pin-Up Class to Canada, and I'll be holding it one day only in Victoria, BC on April 25th, this coming Sunday! Class is at the Belfry Theatre, Studio B, 1291 Gladstone Avenue. Class from 3-9pm. Full details for the class will be emailed with receipt of deposit. I really need your help today!! My best friend has been in the RCF at Fort Sill, OK for over six months because the US Army lost his discharge paperwork after he served in Iraq, and charged him wrongfully with AWOL. He has a kick-ass new lawyer who is working for free because he wants to fight this injustice, and now he needs a bunch of letters of support. My friend Robert Giles is an amazing guitarist in a bunch of hardcore bands, and has been straightedge his whole life. He also went veg while in prison, how tough is that? Here we are at a fancy party in Houston TX, one of the last times I saw him before he was arrested.



Here is a sample letter, so all you have to do is copy and past this into an email, enter your name and forward it to girightslawyer@gmail.com no later than APRIIL7!! That's just a couple days away, so please take a minute to help him get his life back!

I have come to know of Robert Giles through _________________. From all the effort his friends and family have put into spreading the word about his plight, I can tell that he is the sort of person who is well-loved by all who meet him. He is also blessed with a supportive and loving family who stay in close contact with him and his friends.

Whereas many people in a situation similar to his would expect to lose touch with many friends, old and new, Robert has not only stayed in contact with all of his close friends, he has received many letters from old friends who he hasn’t heard from since high school, his service in Iraq, basic training, and old band mates. He has also made many new friends from people who have heard of his situation, or know of him through acquaintances, all of whom want to show their support and offer friendship for this difficult period.

Many lives have been affected by Robert’s incarceration, and he is missed by everyone who knows him. We are all hoping and praying for his swift return to our lives. He is a positive role model, not only for the youth of the local music scene, but for his peers too. WHoooo boy, long time since I updated, sorry! Lots going on, as usual! Tour is almost wrapping up, and I'll be back in NY at the ed of the month, nervous about doing my taxes in the US for the first time. I'm biting the bullet and hiring an accountant to do it for me, not taking any chances! I have got a bunch of things coming up that I have to tell you about!

Just a few days until I head out on tour again, man this has been a short and busy month in NYC! So glad I had lotsa visit time with Reagan, love that girl!
