I am sooooo full. This evening we went to a friend's house for her birthday and it was a cook out, all we had to do was bring our own meat to grill. Ryan and I brought some hamburger patties and 3 avocados because we love to put them on our burgers. Well, we cut up the first one and I ate basically the whole thing before we even started cooking the burgers, and then Ryan had maybe two slices on his and I had 3 on mine and then I ate the rest of the avocado plain. And then there was an amazing guacamole dip too. I am so full of that amazing green fruit. So good!
But so full and gross feeling.
Tomorrow I may be shooting a set with Ryan, I'm not sure, depends when we wake up. I have a family portrait session to shoot tomorrow that I'm really excited about. We're going to have them play Rock Band.
I'm so excited, it'll be great.
Sunday we'll be working on "The Haus" with my mom, step dad, mother in law and father in law. It was raining a lot today and we found out that the roof has a leak in my reception room, and there are several leaks in the wall in our basement, and the toilet is leaking too. But the maintenance guy came out and looked at everything and said that they'll be taking care of things right away and they'll also be working on some other things too, like put in new windows because there are a few cracks in them. It feels so good to be taken care of, rather than have landlords from California who don't even have an answering machine and go off on week long cruises, and they have no property manager. Fuck. Them.
Next week is busy, I have at least one shoot every day that I'm open. So excited!
I should probably spend a few hours this weekend burning off old files to clear up my server. It's the worst thing to do, I usually have my interns do it. Now I'm intern-less.

Someone was asking for a side by side view of my dark hair and my light hair. I don't like my expression in my blonde picture, but I needed something with the same hair style and angle to show you.

I took a few pictures upstairs today, the quality isn't as good as I usually have it I was losing light. A couple of days ago I got two pairs of girls Hanes boxer briefs. Oh my god, they're awesome. I feel like I can take on the world in them. And never get a wedgie.

My hair isn't as light as I wanted it, but the toner really helped getting the brassy colors out so my hair looks really good. I'm happy with it and I don't think I'm going to attempt to lighten my hair again until I need to lighten my roots.
I'm a bit stressed today. There is a group of customers who were brides of the previous owner, he shot their weddings, but I'm stuck with having to make their books and everything. One customer in particular was not happy with his service at her wedding and then there was a great confusion between books that I have to make. Basically, I thought I was having to make the parent's albums like I usually do. The process goes as this: They pick out 50-75 different images and we design the images into composites that go into a 10 page (20 front and back) book. The bride had only picked out 20 pictures of each of their books and I had told her that this wasn't enough to make a good book and I have been waiting for months from her to tell me what other pictures to get.
I get an email today from the Better Business Bureau about how they are still waiting on there flushmount album and their parents albums. In their letter they explain that their parents albums were to be albums with just 20 5x7's of their favorite pictures in it. That was the first time I had heard about that and I was SO PISSED because if I had known that I would have been done with these people MONTHS ago! Now they're pissed off as ever and it's not even my fault. I ordered everything today for them, so that should be in by monday for me to put together and send off to them. Grrrr.
Ryan and I are kind of starting on moving things over to "the house." We took all our wedding gifts over today, and we are basically going to just take a van full of stuff over there every day. That plan suits us better than packing a whole bunch for one big day. That would make us keep putting it off. I definitely need to go through my clothes and get rid of things I don't wear anymore. I have way too many clothes. We also figured out which couches we are getting rid of.
I have a few pieces of furniture that I need to sell, if you are interested you can send me a message and I will send you pictures of them. It's all "make an offer." I don't really expect anyone to be interested, but it never hurts to mention it right?
I have a stainless steel commercial sink. It has the three different wash bins that the health department requires you to have for washing, rinsing, and sanitizing. Stands by itself. Starting a restaurant and need a sink? Fuck ebay, I got what you need!
I have an awesome 9 foot long dining room table with 6 chairs. They are wooden, painted light yellow, could easily be painted any other color, or you could strip it down to the wood if you wanted. The seats are cushioned and they have a wicker back to them. It's really pretty. We played board games on it all the time. The previous owner of it said it was a great table to pass cocaine around on. I wouldn't know.
I wish I could keep the table but I have no room for it in the new place. Would make for AWESOME pictures. I may snap a few on it tonight for fun.
That's it for now. If I come across anything else I'll be sure to let you know. You all have first dibs!

So, I need to apologize to you all because I mislead you. My last post I was talking about my hair plans to cut my bangs. Well, I didn't cut my bangs. I actually did something completely different, and it was very sudden. Pictures and more info after the jump!
I have some more things to talk about, but I'm going to save it for another post, maybe for this evening or tomorrow. You don't want to miss it!
Pretty sure that this week I'm going to get my bangs cut like I used to have it. Here are some pictures from last time I had the hair style. What do you think?

Okay, so this topic is about orgasms, it's not so much explicit, but I'm just letting you know up front. Orgasms.
So. I have a question for everyone. When you orgasm, do you see colors? Like, as you are having an orgasm and you close your eyes, do you see colors? Or feel colors?
Let me explain. Sometimes when I do, I see colors, or I feel like a different color. It used to be that there would be orange or green when I would orgasm. It would be like a rush and a burst of color would appear while it's going on and I would be lost in it. Sometimes while I was having an orgasm I would feel like my skin was a different color, sometimes a black person or an asian person (that's really hard to explain, I wasn't picturing myself as anyone to get me off, it just happened that at the moment of it happening my brain was seeing or feeling this way.) Lately it's just hair color. I will see in my head and feel like a red head, or like last night, a brunette (which I am, but the color was darker) and then a blond after that. I'm just so curious about it. Am I weird (again) and the only person so sees colors? What do you see? What does your brain make you do?

So yesterday I got married. So now I'm Mrs. BetteJean
I had a wonderful time. There were a few things that went wrong, like I threw up on my dress the first forty-five minutes of the reception. I hadn't eaten much that day because of nerves, and I had two drinks, and then my nerves got worse at the evening reception and yeah. It sucked. My mom and Ryan and my photographer/friend, Mysi, took me across the street to my apartment, redid my makeup, my mom drove to her house and got a dress that I graduated in. It's a knee length ivory lace dress. I thought I had lost it, the dress was going to be my wedding dress but I could never find it. Funny how things work out! So I wore that dress for the rest of the night and it was perfect. I danced the whole time with friends, my sisters, and my husband. I have never danced with him before and he had never danced ever, but we had a freaking blast. I finally got to show him my dance moves.
The ceremony was beautiful, short and sweet. A lot of people cried when I said my vows. We did something different, we didn't memorize or write down our vows at all, we just said what was on our hearts right then and there. I loved it.
The picnic reception was very fun, and very sweet. I have A LOT of left over pies. I'm glad that I got to spend time with my closest friends and family there.
The evening reception, after my dress fiasco, was AMAZINGLY FUN. Ryan's and my first dance was to this song:
And our DJ played the whole album of "Feed the Animals" by GirlTalk for the last hour of the reception, like we requested. Our friend, Regan, also gave Ryan a strip tease, and it was the most hilarious thing ever. He is a big hairy man, I can't wait to show you pictures. I was on the floor laughing.
The last dance at the reception was "The Time of My Life" and everyone that was still at the reception crowded around me and Ryan and it was a huge group hug practically and then everyone backed away and were just jumping and dancing with their arms in the air around us. It was like something in a movie. It was so wonderful and cheesy all at the same time. I have the greatest friends and family.
After the reception we had a bit of an after party back at the studio and my maid of honor ended up going outside in front of my store which is floor to ceiling plate glass windows and she did a strip tease for anyone in my reception room. She did this awesome dance involving rubbing up against the windows, taking her bra off from underneath her shirt and then her shirt came completely off. While she was in the middle of her shocking routine, one of Ryan's friends walks into the room and sees what's going on and says, "I've seen websites about this." Pretty much the best line from the whole night. I recommend to anyone that they make it mandatory for their maid of honor to strip on your wedding day. It's fun.
I don't know exactly when I'll have pictures for you all to see. I'm sure I will just put a few up each day. I know our friend left a memory card in our camera for us with pictures in it, so I will probably put some up on here tonight for you all to see.

Hi Everyone,
Today was a crazy day. We went up and got our friend Rebekah and I absolutely love her. I'm so glad she was able to make it to our wedding. When we got back we went to the grocery store and loaded up on wine and cheese and started drinking from around 8:30 to now (1:30) Had a blast, had about 10 people all together, was so much fun!
Tomorrow is kind of weird, we'll kind of crank out the ceremony, go to rehearsal and do something resembling a ceremony and then have dinner at 7, then come back here and probably have the same people back again to hang out some more. And then the big day! I'm so excited! As much as I'd like to blog the next two days I am going to let myself be away from the computer.
Love you all, thanks so much for the excitement you have shared with me and listening to my little wedding planning adventures. Will hopefully be back with great stories and great pictures!
