Wow, that is totally awesome. I can't say I could bring myself to skip out on a bill just to donate. Not many people would, which makes it all the more special. A few kids are gonna have a much better Christmas this year because of your selflessness. God bless people like you.

I always love going to the local mall and finding the kiosk where orphans have written their Christmas list, and then getting someone a present. It's definitely the time of year for philanthropic deeds. Good for you!

In the same building that my son goes to Kindergarten, there is a small orphanage. There are only 8 children at the orphanage but every year for the past 3 years i have been the secret santa for the kids there. This year the orphanage couldnt even afford a christmas tree so i delivered one in the middle of the night to their front door a few nights ago. I cant wait to drop off the package of gifts for the kids. I make sure they all get a few little fun stocking stuffers to open and one nicer present. The ladies that run the place give me their letters to santa now so i know what they want... its the best feeling ever to do this

Major kudos! The children's Christmas charity I usually donate to filled all their requests before I remembered to ask about it this year, so I'm going to donate to a VFW home instead. It's kinda sad - they're asking for big ticket items like robes, slippers and socks.
