Looks like I survived the move! I had my last day of donuts this morning and then went home, changed into some old clothes and started loading the U-Haul. Ok, so I didn't load a lot, but with my great delegation Ryan and our two friends managed to fit all the important things into the truck. It has been a horrible rainy day though We managed to load and unload without getting too wet.
My biggest worry was about our apartment, I've never seen it before, we were desperate to find a place and this was the one we got. All I had was a floor plan and a few snapshots on a website and that was it. The apartment is small, very simple and super cute, just what I needed. The past 5 years I've lived in a 3 bedroom apartment with 5 guys, lived in a 2,000 sq. ft. studio apartment that had no A/C or heat, and I've lived in a house that wasn't really meant for living in so things were just not in the right place. Living in an apartment that is meant for living with my guy and has heating, carpet, outlets where there should be outlets and lights where should be lights, and a dishwasher, I am just living the dream
So now I'm going to fall asleep, for tomorrow is another long day, but a happy and adventurous ones.
