Heading up to Chicago today for a quick little trip. Staying at my best friend's house. We're going to hang out with her little sister and play Wizard World and giggle like 12 year olds. Then tomorrow I have another 5 hours session on my sleeve and then I imagine we'll go back to her house because I passed the fuck out last time after my session. Then Wednesday morning I drive back and do a job fair thing at a local high school.

So, my next donut shift went really well, I managed to do exactly what my friend told me the former donut person used to do and my manager was there so she saw me working that hard and fast the whole time and she told me that I did a good job. That night I got a text from my friend saying that my boss told her how amazing I did that day. So I guess my boss just doesn't like informing me on anything "Work faster" and "good job" is just too vague, right? I didn't talk to my manager about her not telling me what to do but I'm starting to get the feeling that if I need to know what my boss is thinking I just need to ask my friend. Anyway I think my awesome day at work will help me get more hours. Definitely need the money!

My Christmas crafting is coming along. I spent all day yesterday working on a cross stitch pattern and realized I used the wrong color That was heart breaking. I've also been making beads by cutting up plastic soda bottles and using a heat gun (from the scrap booking department) to melt them into beads. So far I have green ones from a Mountain Dew bottle, clear ones and then I used a light blue sharpie on a bottle and it turned my beads into a very soft pretty light blue. I'll be using the beads to make bracelets, earrings and pendants for my cousins and other family members who like jewelry. I'll post some pictures of them soon. I need to get myself some more sharpies, I like how the colors are turning out.

Well, my clothes are close to being dry so that means I need to start on the other things I need to get done before I leave. Have a good Monday!
