Hello lovelies!
I can't believe it's been a week! We are getting internet on Tuesday so I will be able to give my blackberry a much needed break.
We are moved in and I can already tell that it's for the best. I sleep better because I am not in the middle of all the bars and loud college students and there aren't people revving up their engines between 1 and 4 in the morning. So I am sleeping better, not needing to sleep in, and then I get more things done in the morning, like cooking.
I have not made the stew yet, I will probably be making that next week. I have made meatloaf (using deer burger) and I've made bacon wrapped smokies (glazed in brown sugar) and today I will be making roasted butternut squash, and I have apple pork chops in the slow cooker right now. I may make peanut butter cookies tonight, I'm not sure yet. It seems like everything I've been cooking involves brown sugar lately.
Two days ago we went to the new Japanese Steakhouse in Quincy. We ate at the sushi bar, I had vegetable tempura and their rainbow sushi. I wasn't a huge fan of there sushi. The inside had mixture of crab and something else mixed with cream cheese and they put lemon juice over the whole thing. I didn't think I read anything about cream cheese on their description... It was really hard to enjoy any of the natural flavors, there wasn't a distinct flavor from the fish, rice, avocado, anything. Next we go back I think I'll just enjoy the hibachi grill. I am just too spoiled at me regular sushi place.
I shoot my last wedding of the season tomorrow and then a senior shoot on sunday. Ryan will be manning a booth at a bridal show on Sunday, he's an awesome salesman, I am sure he'll book a wedding for us this weekend.
Okay, probably won't be back on until Tuesday night. Miss you all!
