About me: well, I lived in Calgary most of my life. My family history is long, confusing and has the makings of a pretty decent novel.

No pets, yet, though I've been eyeing up a Boston Terrier for months now. I'm allergic to cats, which sucks as I grew up with them, love 'em and now can't even get within 10 feet of one without sneezing.

I work as a Systems Admin, which is an all purpose way of saying I'm a computer nerd. It's a pretty boring job but the pay is good, or, at least better, than what I went to school for which was Journalism.

I live with my girlfriend in our house in the ass end of the city. The community was planned out to mimic a New England town, so it's pretty odd compared to anything else you find in this city.

Regarding the implants thread: I think it's like 12 pages now of the same cyclical arguments. If anything it's illustrative of how judgemental some folks can be, and, in parts, how hypocritical.

...actually the "happy dance", which is a cross between the "snoopy dance" and the "around the world" arm thing, is pretty embarrassing looking, it's best not to imagine it...

My family had cats most of my life. When I moved out during College I wanted one pretty badly, so when a stray came pawing at my door, I took her in. In about 15 minutes my eyes started watering, and I had this rash popping up all over my arms. This depressed the hell out of me. I gave her to a neighbour who still has her to this day.

I thought about shots for the allergies, but they only keep them vaguely under control, and the side-effects can be unpleasant.

I was never much of a dog person. A lot of species of dogs lack a certain stubbornness and independence I like prefer in a pet, or have aggressive tendencies which I don't particularly want either. I only recently met a few folks with Boston Terrier's who said they have a reputation for being a little on the proud side.

I like a pet that's proud. I can't respect an animal that kisses my ass.

Besides, they are so freakin' cute.

Computer nerdom has its downside too. People ask you at parties about their computer problems. I've had people call me at home and without taking a breathe from "what's up?" they request computer assistance. It's worse when it's co-workers calling me at home for that. I have little patience for them here, imagine how I feel when they call me at home?

EDIT: Oh, yeah, forgot. I love knee highs on women--and there's one drag queen I know who looks good in them too, but that's neither here nor there.

I'm in Germany because my hubster got stationed here. Funny story about that, I was out looking for a new lady and I met him. He knows I love the ladies so it's cool. haha. We've been here for about 8 months. We've got 3.4 years to go God we'll be here for a while.
I worked at that CD store for 3 years. Before I was a manager I could have all the piercings I wanted, but when I became a manager I had to take them all out I was so pissed. I want to get my septum done again, but my allergies out here are too bad for that. Another reason why i can't wait to move back to the states. Oh and the fact that my tattoo artist is in the states. God I haven't gotten a tattoo in 8 months I need some ink REALLY bad damnit. lol

i am not a dancer, though i play one on TV. i love the word "stripper" becuz there is no better job description on earth. you literally strip of your clothing, but figuratively strip of all your inhabitions and have nothing to hide behind. i love strippers (1 in particular!) because they give me a chance to connect with another being on a level that makes me happy. when a naked woman is sitting on my lap, i can't see the relevence of talking about the weather, politics, sports or any other mundane subject. i want to tell a woman how hot she looks. i love the temptation of not being able to keep my hands off her. and letting her know that. i want whispers in my ear. the kind that get me fully aroused. strippers can do that without even trying. and of course that's the downside to strippers. they take your money and for it you get a song and dance and the fantasy that they love you. the same fantasy they give every other guy in the bar, a hundred times a day. well, for my twenty bucks, there are days when that goes a long way. i love cats and dogs. two of God's great inventions. i just acquired a new cat, becuz my old dear friend DJ the beagle passed awayjust a few weeks ago. 17 years old and he died peacefully in my arms. i think about him every day. gave him a Viking funereal. all dogs go to heaven, right? anyway, my year-old cat named Bo just got a new kitten friend named Buttons.
i've always been close to my family. maybe too close. lots of brothers and sisters and they all still live within a couple hours of me. holidays, we just sit around and look at each other cuz we already know what everybody's been up to... weird.
