Random hockey facts:
-During a game between the Montreal Canadians and Toronto Maple Leafs, in the 1960`s, Jean Beliveau was playing the puck in the Toronto end, when he was tripped up and started sliding head first toward the goalie Johnny Bower and his goal post.
Bower seeing that Beliveau could not stop himself from hitting the post, quickly stuck out his pad to prevent Beliveau from injury.
As the play continued, Beliveau thanked Bower for his act of kindness and shook his hand.
We need more of this.
-Did you know that in 2003-2004 there were 789 hockey fights.
At a rate of two fights every three games, this 2003-04 season, was a rate equal to the previous 7 seasons.
-The original Stanley Cup was just seven inches high. The names of every player from each winning team is engraved on the base of the Cup. The cup and base now stands 35 inches high.
-The first player who accumulate more than 300 penalty minutes in a single season was Philadelphia Flyer Dave Schultz, who had 348 penalty minuted in 1974. The next year, he broke his record with 472 penalty minutes, still the record.
-Hockey pucks are frozen before being used in play, because the RUBBER with which they are made is too bouncy otherwise.
-Legendary goalie Jacques Plante loved to knit!
-There was once a rule saying the team captain had to be on the ice at ALL times. There have been a lot of weird rules, like penalties for kicking with your skate.
-There are only three teams in the league, with a name ending without a ''S'' They are: The Wild, Lightning, and Avalanche

I'm sorry I havn't replied to everyone, but I read all my messages and I was so happy and thankful to have so many great people sending me wonderful greetings. Seriously you guys, you rock. And I'm not just saying that, I've actually organized something for my bday for 3 years now without anyone coming. This year I met up with some SGmtl folk, and though it was a quietish night and I didnt get drunk off my ass, I still ppreciated being in good company. So thank you thank you!
I'm changing my style. Or rather, getting one. I've been in jeans and tshirt mode for like 5 years now, time to switch it up. I'm wearing more skirts and dresses. I'm aiming to have a bit of girlie 50's flair, but keep a bit of edge to it. Works? It's gonna have to hahah I've been selling all my clothes!
This dress was actually my mothers when she was a teenager! How cool is that.
How about some outta focus buns?
THESE ARE AWESOME.. I'm obsessed and can't put them down. I want to get like 5 more packs and create gigantic structures.
