First of all, I just want to say thank you all for your comments on my last blog. I'm sorry I didn't reply like I usually do, I'm just trying not to think about it. But seriously - thank you tons. Enough of that sad stuff, here's a happy blog.
I can finally say that I adore Mass Effect! While playing the first one, I thought it was okay, but I wasn't dying to come home and turn on my Xbox or skipping meals because eating was messing with my gaming time. The second one is a whole different story, though. It's much more challenging and I actually get killed every now and then. Missions are more varied and interesting, the story is intriguing. A few fun facts…
- I actually have an elastic band wrapped around my controller to hold the left trigger while scanning planets, so my finger doesn't get sore.
- I may or may not have cried when I got Normandy back and when I saw Garrus (I totally did).
- Meet my new boyfriend.

Also, I finally have a new laptop! It's a brand new MacBook Pro and it's pretty. It's fast and effective and all that, but did I mention it's pretty? I'm being horribly anal about it and the OCD side of me is having a big, fat party. I spent hours personalising folders and adding album art to all my iTunes music yesterday. The desktop is all nice and neat, and I change my Chrome theme every few hours because I can't decide which one I like more. Normal, right?
And last, but not least - I finally got my own copy of Hard Girls, Soft Light. I pre-ordered it months ago, and received it recently. Surprise, surprise - I'm in it! Well, my ass is and I'll just take that as the biggest compliment ones' ass could ever get.

Being a Suicide Girl for such a short time and having my photo placed in an SG book is a huge honour and I can still hardly believe it. Thanks SG!
