November is proving to be a bit of madness - as I suspected it would be, and it will get worse before it gets any better. The weekend was as busy as the work week and I’m dying for a holiday, but that will have to wait till next month. I’m expecting at least one moment of cuckooness before Christmas, so watch this space.

There’s always time for cuddles though, and no animal is safe from my love. On Saturday morning I went to a market which is quite a popular hangout for people with dogs. Wherever you go there are big puppies, small puppies, fuzzy ones and bald ones. Like really bald! Donald Trump without a roadkill on his head kind of bald… surreal

We also found a lady that runs a little rescue centre and she had a few of her animals to show. These all have injuries that prevent them from ever living in the wild, or are too small to be released just yet.

And of course, my favourites – monkeys! There was a troop running around at the local SPCA, so I managed to snap a few pics between book hunting and stuffing my face with food.

Oh, and have I mentioned that pilates did wonders not only for my abs, but for my ass too. Say ‘thank you, Lumo’. biggrin

P.S. Shadow got attacked by one of the new cats. The ginger one came into our garden and kicked her furry ass. She got bitten on the leg and was limping quite badly yesterday. Gave a call to her vet this morning, but he said to just monitor her and bring her straight in if anything seems off. She’s much better now and has stopped limping, but she not interested in going out anymore.

Yes I'm sure I would - the wilder the better.

Don't worry she'll be fine - a time of adjustment only

No idea yet, why I am feeling nauseous after awhile of gaming. Just started to lately. Been gaming most of my life. A question for a doctor maybe.

Sorry to hear about Shadow. The only time I had problems was when the un-neutered and often feral males were hanging around. Tehru came home with bites and scratches around his hind-end many times. And I often watched him start the exchange. He never could take care of himself in a fight, though, even with wimpier cats. Casper came home limping with a lot of blood on one of his back feet, as well one time, which resulted in a trip the ER vet. He had gotten bit pretty well. It was only the wild ones with which he couldn't always hold his own. If neighbor kitties make a habit of coming over, you can show your displeasure by squirting them with a hose.
