oh dear - that's my hometown. nothing goth there - you'll need to go to norfolk (which isn't far - just through the tunnel. Yes -- tunnel). There used to be a helluva scene there, but I've been in LA the last 10 years, so who knows. Good luck!

why do i always find out last that there are a but load of sgs in colorado MAN!!!

I was just down in the Norfolk, Portsmouth area. I hate to say it, but the goth scene by and large dried up when the cops kept busting the local goth hang out for X. After the bar changed hands four or five times, it eventually was closed down.
If I were you, I would go to the Ghent area in Norfolk. Its a little, artsy, restaurants type of area. You could also try downtown Norfolk, but its more commercial and it also attracts alot of military folk. Which can be good or bad, depends upon your point of view.
Of course there is always Virginia Beach, which isn't all that bad. Just watch out for the "no cursing" law and the Va Beach Police. They don't play
