Scandalising the books like that! I hope there were no childrens titles around, young lady! Though literature and nudity did rather go hand-in-hand with the Bloomsbury Group.

I need to hire you to provide some order to my books. I"ve got thousands and have only a vague sense of order about them. It comes down to the choice between reading and giving them order and the latter always loses. Nice pictures btw.

If I can't read at least an hour a day, my day is ruined.

I am not crazy about this Almighty's imagination - end of time is the end of reading ? Are there no books in heaven ? Let us hope so - to have this sublime addiction and no material - sounds Hell ? Maybe that is the destination for some Christian readers ? As anyone with this addiction knows - knowledge is a never completed building - built on observation and study. I am a sceptic - I believe in doubt as a way to knowing something - but I don't eat the pages.

Are you mildly amused or sad for them, when someone asks:

We're almost to the point of collapseing into the Tarn under the
weight of the Library.
Most , the Daffoildills have beat the Crocus to blooming,
weeks early for either of them. The current big worry for this
area is; now that the Apple trees have blossomed will there be a frost,
if so minimal Apple harvest this Fall.

I prefer the thought of under a tree, head in your lap - as you read for me ?
I would do the same for you - if your leg or voice gets tired.
