Spleen just sent me these photographs she took backstage while I was shooting my last set with Cherry. She took them on film with her Hasselblad camera. I feel so lucky to know everyone I have met through this site.

The b&w pics are stunning... the one where you look through the window, and you see your reflection is my favourite... Dreamy! They also, somehow, breathe a lovely old atmosphere

much as digital photography gives us so much, and the joy of photoshop makes any picture look the way you want it to, the tones and crispness from large format film is still beautiful. At uni i used to get to use a hasselblad and a 5 x 4 sinar, just the machines themselves were beautiful, the mechanics and engineering was lovely, taking the pictures was almost just an excuse to play with the beautiful toys
